It really comes down to the bartender. I got good ones in Schooner Bar and Wonderland (you don’t have to be eating there). Try a few places.

They don’t even share when linked. I was in the same cabin with my daughter and granddaughter, and we were linked. But you can share your vouchers.

Avoid the area above Johnny rockets. I made that mistake once. Never again!
Those are Boardwalk cabins. Totally different than Central Park cabins that OP was asking about. I would never choose one of those either.

OP, are you asking about the CP cabins they list under interiors? If so, I stayed in one on the Wonder. I could faintly hear the music at night, which was very pleasant. There was no other noise, and I thought it was very quiet. I really enjoyed the window seat.

Unfortunately I have lost the hearing now in my right ear. Hopefully it will heal. Why do people do that?
Some people just shouldn’t drink..LOL Hopefully she gets off the ship in BA.

Since your cruise is August, normally the shows can be reserved at the beginning of the month prior to your cruise. Start looking around July 1, give or take a few days before or after. You can book via the app or website.

Lets face it..."poop happens". You accept that it will, make the best of it, enjoy what you can...and no matter what, we are making it happen. 😉 As I always say "Good or bad...experience it all, and appreciate the good where it makes an appearance".
I wish there were more posters like you on Cruise Critic. It seems like most threads anymore, people just want to complain. It’s become the Grumpasaurus Rex Club.

Hopefully next pick up for wine isn't LA. 😉 That would be poor planning.😉
I think you wanted to post this in the UWC thread.

Wow...yup, that is Bucky's favorite wine. He has had a standing order for a glass of Oberon Cab with dinner for over 3 weeks now, but 2 nights ago...was told they are out.
Now...they are even out of Kim Crawford SB, my go to wine. Really bummed out about that one!! There is no Sauvignon Blanc they have on board that even comes close to it. 😠
Sad, as up until now, there were no shortages. Not sure what happened in Rio, but I guess they did not pick up any supplies...and being a large embarkation port, I saw a lot of supply trucks down there when we were docked up. Maybe they were just for the other cruise ships. Not sure what happened, or why they did not bring on the wines. It's not like we are a full ship.
I guess they did try to replenish in Rio, but no luck. I do like the Kim Crawford SB when I have wine. I did a wine tasting in NZ in April, and their wines are so good…OK, I do drink wine sometimes, but prefer my Dirty Gin Martini…😉

I just saw one of the vloggers do a short clip on YouTube, that they are running out of some of the wines. They mentioned Oberon Red, and they have already gone through 3 pallets. I’m not a wine drinker, but that must be a popular wine.

We normally sail on Oasis Class. I had no idea.
Only Oasis and Quantum class need reservations at this time. I’m guessing Icon will also.

Thanks to your input, my TA was able to get it applied to Anthem Apr/2025 TP. She did have to call and get someone to approve and manually input.

NYE drink of choice....a "peanut butter and jelly". Anyone know what that is? 😉 Was introduced to me on Wonder (CK) and only Schooner bar has it.
I had the PB&J Old Fashion in Mason Jar. I really like the PB whiskey just to sip plain.
Fun Fact…I’m originally from San Diego, and one of the beach towns where I lived (one of the many places in my 20’s), Ocean Beach, is where it originated.

Probably so they wouldn’t miss the fireworks outside….

The next cruise passengers want to embark, so they usually want you off by about 9:30.

8:34. We are still 2 hours earlier than EST.
Pat, I think you meant later. East Coast is almost 7pm. I’m on West coast and it’s almost 4pm
Are you going to make it to 12? I was on Navigator last New Years with my 2 daughter and grandkids, and none of us made it…LOL

UWC Bingo per an influencer 😉
The person that made this isn’t on the cruise, and even said she’s never been on one. She researched other TikTok accounts and came up with this…she is getting this info from the others that are on the cruise. Looking for followers and clicks.
One TikToker who is not in attendance but is having some fun at the spectacle created an Ultimate World Cruise bingo card so we can all follow along at home.

As long as you have the patience to wait for an available elevator.🤣
The trick is on debarkation day, get an elevator going up, grab your spot, and then just ride it up, then down…LOL

There are a couple pairs of sisters, who are traveling with their parents. It’s not always Patreon. It’s all about followers and clicks. Some older vloggers on YouTube do very well from posting content. But I also find their content much more interesting and informative.

So, are these TikTokers on the actual UWC or are they doing segments?
Forgive me as I haven't read most of this thread, but have their been special UWC only meetings onboard?
The ones I’ve seen are on the full cruise.
Don’t know about meetings.

I saw an article that there are a ton of young social media influencers on the world cruise. Is this true? Apologies if this has been discussed, but I didn’t read every post on this thread.
Not a ton. A few TikTokers (I don’t do Tik Tok), and I only see some of their stuff, if it pops up on YouTube and IG. There are several older folks vlogging, and I have been following them on YouTube. @Merion_Mom (Carol), had started a thread that those on the cruise could share their, vlogs, blogs, social media sites, so I subscribed to a few on YouTube. But most are easy to find there, by just doing a search on ultimate world cruise.

When I first glanced at plate of meat (5am, before coffee), I thought that was each individual’s plate. I thought, WTH. Who could eat all that? LOL Then I saw each individual’s plate.
