Another new show last night.  Once again the talented 5 singers, plus the orchestra featuring the "High Seas" horns.  Lots of energy.  This time we both came prepared and brought our ear plugs...and with Bucky using his, even simply taking his hearing aids out...was still too loud.  Both walked in with a glass of wine, found good seats...and enjoyed the evening.  🙂  Show called "In Concert".

Once again no pictures...won't do that to our neighbors.  😉  Though many did not care and constantly had their bright cell screens held up to film the show.  Ughhh...

I dim mine way down and just take quick pics. It’s mostly to remember what happened each day. LOL I don’t need a video of the whole show.

What shows are on wonder if the seas? Is there a Broadway show? Are shows available to reserve ahead of time like on other oasis class ships? Thank you in advance for any help.

Normally reservations come out the beginning of the month, prior to your sailing month. So start looking at that time, maybe a couple of days before the first.

Of course back then we didn’t know anything about the issues of 737 Max 9 doors could fly off any given minute.

My daughter and grandson have a scheduled flight to MCO on the 31st on a Max 9. He’s playing in the Flag Football Championship and was invited to ProBowl. I know they substituted another plane on certain days, but others they have cancelled flights. So fingers crossed he’s on the different plane. UGH!

BTW: as Patti at @Coralc can tell you, the people here in California don't call the state "Cali". That is what outsiders call us.  When I was at Hollywood Beach renting the bike, I had to give them my ID and the guy saw it and say "Oh, CALI".  You know he's not from here...

I spent the first 34 years of my life in California, and it’s funny how a lot of us are very picky about how or what you say about the places we live. And don’t ever say Frisco if talking about San Francisco…LOL

Now, living in the Seattle area, it’s Pike Place Market or The Market….I have seen and heard all sorts of variations.

    Thanks for the fun thread!

Disconnect won't work.  You have to logoff.  If you try to logon to a different device without logging off, you will get a message saying you have exceeded the number of devices, and it will not let you logon.

When I go between IPhone and IPad, it just asks me if I want to switch and I say yes. Have never had to manually “logoff”. Maybe because I’m the only one using it.

I tried this I got to the "Don't see your cruise" and "Add it now." It wants to look up my cruise by name, date and reservation number. There isn't a browse our ships. And if I go to another screen and browse ships, I just get itineraries I can book.

    See bottom in Blue

I was wondering how you find out if your ship has a theme night for your sailing?  We've been on cruises before and everyone was wearing Caribbean shirts on a particular night, and we were clueless. Thanks in advance.

Others have failed to mention that you can look at the current cruise and see daily activities. It’s a bit harder to find now, but if you click on head icon in upper right, under your cruise, it says “select a different cruise”. Scroll to bottom and where it says Don’t see your cruise, click on let’s add it now. Then scroll down to “browse our ships”….from there, it will bring up the ships. Pick yours and then pick the current date.

I have noticed the Dress for the Day is usually around the 4-5pm mark.

    Hope this helps.

Hi all. I didn't realize how many negative reviews are on the cruise line's website for the Adventure of the Seas. It's making me nervous about our upcoming cruise. Should I be worried?

A few people will write negative reviews, hundreds will never write positive ones. I never let negative reviews make a decision for me. Go and have a great time.

Question on this .. my two sisters and I are cruising together, reservations are not linked. We each choose MTD at 6:45. Should we stop in at the MDR on the first day to request a table together, or do this at our dinner that evening? When I cruise with my husband, we always do traditional early dinner, so this is my first experience with MTD.

You don’t need to be linked for MTD. Just go together. They will just take each of your cabin numbers.

Thanks for adding this... I've never sailed out of CL.  First time will be this coming September.

Will the ship be coming back from a TA? If so, it could be later. When I boarded the first time at Cape Liberty on the Jewel Greenland in Sept., earliest arrival was 12:30, because of Coast Guard inspection. If your ship isn’t, nevermind…LOL

  11. It was interesting that my cruises on the Ovation in 2021 and 2022 (Alaska), the kettles were kept in the cabin. This past Spring, they started removing them when we got to Hawaii. My stewardess left mine, since I was on for 2 more legs. I liked being able to make a quick cup of Instant coffee on the mornings I was awake at 4-5.

My sister status matched me but that was 20 years ago and we were living in the same household. I was an adult at the time. She status matched our whole household of 7 at the time and only 3 of those were kids. None were a spouse.

Probably because you all showed the same address, and 20 yrs ago, IT was clueless, which hasn’t changed to this day.
