New to Princess cruising and the Medallion App. I have uploaded our passports into the Medallion App and our vaccine cards as well. So when we check in for boarding - does Princess just verify or look at the App and the QR code or do we actually have to show our physical documents? It would not make sense to me to have to show the physical documents since we need to upload the info to the App but just trying to figure out how boarding works. Thanks.

Have an upcoming cruise on Discovery Princess. Wondering about the amenities as I'm in packing mode. Is there supplied shampoo and conditioner and liquid hand soap? Thanks

I'm trying to figure this out now. We are arriving in Vancouver but transporting to the airport same day to fly back to California. If I choose the returning home option you are asked for an address, but also a Province and are only given the Canadian Provinces. so I think I'm going to put in the cruise terminal address?

Hi - I'm sorry I'm having trouble finding where I read that someone use the covid company OnPoint to proctor their home testing. Was that you?

Does Princess accept the Onpoint testing for the proctored internet testing? I see it is $20 on line to schedule (plus you have to have your own OTC testing - which I have from the Federal government). Alaska cruise in mid September, so at this point still have to get the test. I see on the Princess website they list Optum and another company. Just wondering if anyone has used this company and if they are acceptable for the test requirements. Thanks

Perfect! That's were we will be heading. I much prefer the relaxed atmosphere of the dining room versus the buffet.

Very helpful responses. I had same questions too. We are also finding the App not as user friendly as we had hoped. Really don't understand why we cannot book our excursions on the App. It would make a lot of sense to me if you could.

OK called Princess and they said that if you get offered the wait list Excursion you can take the and get the other refunded if there is a difference.

Thanks. Sorry for the typo. Yes I am very familiar with non ship excursions and have used them many times. We are new to princess but have sailed other cruise lines almost 30 times. Was just wondering about specific Princess policy on this.

So we're looking at booking some excursions for our Alaska cruise coming up next month. Unfortunately many of the ones that we are interested in are already booked but there is an option to wait list it. I am wondering if I book another Excursion at the same time and date as the one that I am waitlisting what happens if a spot opens up and I can take the Excursion that I really want to take. Is there a penalty to cancel the one I've already booked? Can I just transfer what I paid on the one I booked to the one that I really want? I am not sure how this works.
