😌 Heard his name but never knew who he was or anything about him, till I went to Bonaire years ago and keep returning. As an equally ardent lover of Bonaire ..........Belafonte's O Island in the Sun was written for Bonaire. Belnam, a residential district there is named after him. He once owned Klien Bonaire. The Belafonte is named after him as well. All in Bonaire.

I saw that show on Celebrity Equinox and Edge. This singer (Charity Lockhart? I think) also had her daughter perform with her on one of those sailings. What a fantastic performer! I enjoyed her shows. And I never knew about Miss Aretha filling in for Pavarotti either.

That is a drive through Paradise!. We did that once. Were going to Ashville to see if they can strike a deal on the Biltmore mansion but didn't work out so will have to settle for our villa in Florida.🤣

@Luckynana Maryanne and JIm, Hope all worked out good at your dentist (? wasn't that why you had to leave FL early?) We are back too and now doing the daunting and overwhelming task of cleaning out, donating, packing boxes, etc etc etc.

Good to hear that it is nothing serious like you feared. Xyzal is also an antihistamine that suppossedly does not have a rebound effect when taking nasal antihistamines. Get well soon.

I like to hold paper too! But everrry time the list is left at home right on the kitchen counter. In NJ we now have to bring our own grocery bags. I used to forget them at home, right by the garage door! Now I just keep some in the trunk.

Have a safe trip Maryanne. We head home Saturday, then a mammoth packing and shipping task for our move. Happy Birthday to William and nothing like spending holidays with family. Hope you are feeling A+ now.
