  1. Unfortunately, the latest updates have pushed it to 2026. We’re going in July 2025, so I’m wrestling with whether to focus on other areas or hit Denali. 😗
  2. They’ll have that regardless. If they go northbound, they’re taking a flight from Anchorage to home. We did southbound in 2013, and the flights are long anyway; but our flight from Vancouver was shorter, when we were tired and ready for our own beds, LOL.
  3. 2025 can’t get here soon enough!
  4. I’m working with a HAL PCC and she did say when the time comes, she’ll be sure to talk with Ship Inventory. I splurged on an aft Neptune Suite on NA, with my sister right next to us, so definitely don’t want to lose it-so hope you’re right!
  5. I did this so I could get the cabin I wanted. However, someone posted elsewhere that when the land portions come out and if I add one, they may need to cancel my current booking and rebook. I’m not willing to lose my cabin, so may do land on my own.
  6. Oh, good point. My PCC got me the cabin I wanted prior to the cruises showing on the website. Otherwise I wouldn’t have booked two years out!! So I’ll be sure to ask her about that; just may have to do land on my own-I’ve been going back and forth anyway….
  7. I have Alaska Air card, so if either of you end up wanting to get, let me know and I’ll refer you!
  8. I booked our cruise and my cruise consultant said land can be added to it later. But to narrow down options, you can look at the 2024 land tours.
  9. Agree with everyone! We went with them in 2013. Didn’t have much whale action but it was a beautiful day!
  10. Oh good! I didn't want to NOT mention and then you have issues ON your trip :).
  11. Katmu, you mentioned driving from Denali to Seward in the afternoon, but based on everything I've been reading on various sites, it's probably about an eight hour drive, and perhaps more. You may want to investigate a little further so you have time to make itinerary/excursion adjustments.
  12. Really, that early?? Ack, gotta get my cabin figured out - thought I’d have until at least February!
  13. In 2013, we flew into Anchorage three days early. Just had dinner the first night. The next day we took the train to Whittier and went on the 26 glaciers tour, then back to Anchorage. Nice train ride (had moose running next to the train!). The day after we took the train to Seward-highly recommend! Awesome views/vistas and various wildlife sightings. In Seward, we took the half day boat tour-again, highly recommend! Oodles of wildlife and Orcas in the bay before we got to the ocean. Afterward we boarded the ship for departure. Unless things have changed since we went, all ships out of Seward or Whittier leave in the evening so plenty of time to do things prior.
