Never book your air with the cruise line.

https://www.thestreet.com/investing/cruise-lines-call-for-cdc-to-change-covid-testing-policy Looks like the cruise lines are asking the CDC to be treated like every other travel industry. Fingers crossed!

I have no problem requiring everyone to be fully vaccinated, but I do think that testing all vaccinated passengers is excessive and unsustainable.
-
I don't think the cruise industry is going to survive if they don't relax some of these ridiculous protocols.
-
Hopefully the cruise lines will follow and not continue to require all fully vaccinated passengers to be tested.

Should excursions show in Medallion app?
travelhound replied to travelhound's topic in Princess Cruises
Thanks for all of the responses. I thought I was missing something. We were on RCCL in March and our excursions and dining reservations showed up in our daily activities so I was expecting that. This will be our first go around with the Medallion app. As long as we still have our excursion, I'm good. I did notice our dining reservation disappear and come back, so we'll roll with whatever happens there. Excursions are a little harder to go with the flow at the last minute. -
This is our first time using the Princess app. We've used other lines' apps and our booked excursions showed up in the planner on the day they occurred as did dining and show reservations. Should excursions and dining be showing up in our Medallion app?

I don't think Covid is ever going away, but with high vaccination rates, I think it could become more like the flu, and should be treated as such. -

Of course that's the case. You can't tell me someone at Princess didn't plan it that way. -
Princess Cruises introduces all-inclusive Premier Package

I have no problem traveling...never stopped. But, I'm not going to give Princess more upfront money when they can snatch the cruise away two days before sailing and keep my money for months. Last cancelled sailing took three months to get our money back. We're doing bare bones bookings until this is normalized. -
Princess Cruises introduces all-inclusive Premier Package

I got this email today for our Alaska cruise in July. There's no way I'm giving Princess more money upfront since they can't tell me if I'm evening allowed on the ship until we're already in a hotel in Seattle two days before sailing. One positive Covid test from our family and it will be many months before I see a credit for this upfront charge. Stop testing and I'll start buying. (And we are not anti-vaxxers. All doubled vaxxed and boosted.) -
I couldn't get my 11 year old daughter in the green lane unless I authorized her to sign on my credit card. Insane. She may have the green line with Princess but she does not have the green lane for charging with me. What she doesn't know...
