  1. I quite fancy something to do with South America although having not done a Transatlantic for a few years then perhaps that if it had decent ports along the way.
  2. sorry to hear you are not on the 1st leg of the Edge Rome to Dubai would have been good to meet you and the Ayrshire man...
  3. why ponant? curious..I am not sure the comparison will be of relevance to many of us here in the Celebrity forum (I may be wrong) considering the cost of ponant
  4. what happens if people decide to move a cruise which has AI...assume you lose the tips part and new non AI pricing kicks in.....
  5. how do you make a cow look like a sheep.........impossible
  6. We are on the Aug 26 2024 sailing as coming from the UK we like to have some sun on our back when on holiday and therefore April may be a little cool for us. If there are crowds (and lets be honest crowds are everywhere) this has never put us off in the past and wont do in the future. As for children on the ship I would imagine most schools will have returned at this time of the year as the cruise will also be entering into the first week of September. The ports we are visiting should be great and ideal for either beach in August or some nice sightseeing. PS We will also be Aft......always aft. Enjoy.
  7. Been to ABC's in September.....Great.
  8. Looking for a one night prior to cruise so wondering if this hotel would be ok? tx
  9. anyone can mint an NFT if you know what you are doing.....in crypto land people buy NFT's as they become useful in crypto gaming and are normally limited editions
  10. We have been in many aft cabins in s class ships and now really looking forward to trying m class.
  11. So we will be on the constellation next year for the first time [first time M class ship] and had an opportunity to switch from a balcony cabin to a sv balcony cabin so I chose 8172. Could still take 7208 one deck below. Any comments [pictures] welcome from people who have stayed in either. thanks
  12. you know its funny you said that because my wife just said to me what is the cost of the cruise including flights, hotels etc [we are from the UK] and when I told her she gasped and said we could book the Caribbean and Europe for the cost.............now she has me thinking!!!
  13. I was comparing our cruise we have booked for 2024 to Hawaii with a land based holiday to Hawaii and I can't believe the cost of some hotels. Not only that on Maui a can of coke is $3.25. Having never visited Hawaii I wonder what peoples thoughts are? Cheers.......... 14. before we have cruised we normally have a look at some reviews and then after we have returned we wonder if the people posting "really bad reviews" have been on a different ship. But I suppose its all about ones expectations and the service they receive. So far we have been very lucky with all our Celebrity cruises because apart from a chicken being undercooked on the first night they have all went to plan....People pay good money for a celebrity cruise so they deserve quality service.
  15. until my wife and I experience a bad celebrity cruise for ourselves we will continue to book and cruise
  16. a sunset veranda rate in the uk all inclusive with 450$ obc and it approx 6k$
  17. we booked in the uk no agent said no price increase and we get extra 100$ obc. dont know anything about oregon never been.
  18. or an overnight in Hon at the end of our cruise would be nice......we should find out soon what their decision is
  19. Received a call from my agent. Issues with the port has changed the sail date from 21 Sept 24 to 20th Sept 24 meaning it is now a 13 night cruise and not a 12 night cruise. Our price of the cruise remains the same with a complimentary 100$ obc per balcony cabin stateroom. Full refund offered if deciding on cancellation. PS I believe the 13 Sept 2024 sailing from Vancouver is also affected as the agent mentioned the two dates.
  20. what was wrong with the way it was? don't change something that isn't broke.
  21. can anyone confirm that the elite free drinks are between 5-7pm and available at any bar including the bar in the buffet deck 14? thanks
