I posted this on the Alaska forum too but didn't get any responses so thought I would post here too...... See my post below......can anyone tell me if I am in correct in my thinking? Thank you. I keep checking on the requirements and have downloaded the Arrivecan App onto my phone. I am sailing in August and am doing a land tour to Denali before my cruise and I am sailing out of Seward with my cruise ending in Vancouver. No other stops in Canada. So, I guess I am supposed to finish filling out the information on Arrivecan while I am in Denali? Since that will be 3 days before I sail?

Thanks for your observations🙂. I do appreciate them. But part of the issue, for example....if (BIG IF) a mask is required in the theater? Or on a bus for a tour? I would think folks should ahere to the requirements. I have been on 4 cruises since last summer's restart......(none this year) but going again later this month. I don't like wearing a mask anymore either but if they say in "such and such a venue", it is required, I will wear it. I just think it is the right thing to do.

Hi Spins,🙂 good to see you and hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I was thinking the same thing after Les posted that...........

I have been to Alaska 4 times over the years and will be going again in August. I always suggest layering when it comes to clothing.🙂 As for dinner? My formal attire is dressy slacks and a pretty top with some jewelry and black sandals or ballet flats. This outfit works for me whether I am going to Europe, the Caribbean or Alaska.

I just saw the news.......wow Ft. Lauderdale and Miami both look like a bigger flood than a hurricane😲the folks trying to drive through it are nuts and should know better!....definitely not safe driving through that kind of water. Glad you are ok!

Hi girls, Kat, I had never even heard of that brand of jeans before. Glad they work for you🙂 And Cynthia, I like those shoes too.😃 Well, I decided to go shopping today----I forgot what it is like to shop on a Saturday LOL......I just don't do it much at all anymore. I went to Kohl's and Bealls and found a few different things. Kohl's carries Jockey brand and that is my brand for panties.......100% cotton and fits me well. Needed some new ones. And I got a pair of Lee cargo crop pants but not sure I am keeping them. I usually try stuff on in the store but today I brought it all home first. They fit me ok but when I looked in my closet I have another pair of almost the exact same ones......so I may return them. Got a top to match but don't like how it looks so that is definitely going back. Thought it looked good with them in the store but when I put it on? Just didn't do anything for me. Then I went to Beall's and found the pj's I wanted! They are separates but that is ok with me. The top is blue and the pants are a cute sort of palm tree print and they even have pockets! They are cropped pants and are soft cotton.🙂 I also saw the cutest crop pants from "Democracy".....I really like this brand. They are lightweight cotton in sort of a cargo style. Nice print--a muted floral, if that makes sense. And got a solid top to go with them. These will work for me on excursions👍 Hope all of you are having a good weekend.

I agree with the hotel suggestion. Sounds like if you don't travel with your phone, getting a printed copy is your only other option. Wherever you are staying in Seattle, ask the front desk if they have a computer/printer available.

I will be there in 3 weeks!😃....flying out 21 days from today!

Its all about the timing.........most of you who already have the 100 days? You all have been sailing with SS since long before me. My first cruise was in 2017 where many of you have at least 10 years of cruising with them prior to that.........I would have made 100 before now but 2020 got in the way😲

Congratulations on both milestones😀. I will be joining you later this year on the laundry🙂.Already got the retirement😃

Good morning, not sure if either one of you would be interested but CNN had a movie on Monday night called "Julia". It was really, really good. I learned a lot of things. It was kind of like a documentary but even better😀. CGT, did you know Julia Child was on the PBS station in Boston at the beginning of her TV career? Oh, you can probably find it "on demand" if you are so inclined. -
