  1. To those who have upcoming cruises..... Be proactive! I wonder how long Regent was going to let us actually hang with no air? After multiple major snafus, our air was finally sorted out, however we are spending an additional night in Stockholm.....on what seems to be "our" nickel. We rarely, if ever, complain, but I think this is a case where Regent could actually "treat". It was their delay that put us in this situation. I guess what I want to say is that if you have an upcoming cruise, be sure your carrier is actually flying, not on strike, not having a slow down, etc. If I hadn't pushed, we'd still be sitting here expecting Regent to find air for us (of which there was basically none.....).
  2. We do! Printed out the boarding passes this morning.... Now if we can just get to Stockholm....we're supposed to be on SAS. I've contacted our TA and hopefully Regent is doing something about this......maybe like pick another airline??!!! Will keep you posted!

  4. I think....by some miracle....it's gone thru! I'm not getting excited until I actually see our boarding passes in my email! And then of course, there's the SAS snafu.....we'll see what Regent does but in the meantime, I'll be back to our TA.....I know we're real pests, but it's getting to be serious time now.... BTW, thanks all for your help!!!
  5. What computer? Yours? I've been using my iphone for photos...my personal desk top won't do photos.
  6. DHs came thru fine.....can't figure out what the problem is with mine. All other sections are complete for both of us other than my (@#MN) photo! Will continue to work on it....headed for Stockholm (Lord willing and the SAS thing gets figured out) for the July 26th extravaganza!
  7. What am I doing wrong? All's well until I get to the photo part of the online registration. I've taken the selfie, then pushed the upload button, the save button and it still shows imcomplete. Maybe I should do save, then upload? or maybe they don't like the picture? Any advice appreciated before I call Regent.
  8. Gary999, I ment no disrespect when I laughed at your post.....just made me giggle! However I'm pretty happy with Bellinis, Blinis, whatever, as long as it comes with caviar!

  10. WOW!!! That was wonderful!! You did a most excellent job on your review/summary!! We'll be onboard the Splendor at the end of the month and are so looking forward to it.   13. We had our photos done at check in took about a minute for the two of us. That way they get exactly what they want.
  14. There are two outdoor pools and a number of hot tubs, but to my knowledge, there is no indoor pool.
  15. Is the "included" caviar available on all SS ships? or is it just on the newer "glitzy" ones? What about the little Whisper? Can we expect to see some fish eggs? (giggle!)
  16. It's been several years since we've been on SS. We flip back and forth between SS and Regent. I must say that we've been pretty happy with the included wines offered on SS. I think they're a cut above what Regent has included. Lots of nice choices and if you don't like something, they're happy to offer something else. We had a lovely lady sommelier, Caroline? Carolyn? who was wonderful. Funny, unpretentious and always at the ready to assist if need be. We'll be on the little Whisper in Sept and hope the wine situation remains terrific!
  17. We boarded in Brooklyn on May 15. It didn't make a particle of difference what time your boarding pass indicated, what tier (diamond, platinum, etc) you were on, what cabin assignment you had. Just go to the end of the line that stretched around the block (so to speak) where the checkers re checked every scrap of paper you had. It didn't matter if you had printed out all of the health forms, etickets, boarding passes, etc. You had to go thru another enormous line to even get to the actual check in. We went thru this same mess in Feb. and chalked it up to the QM2 entering the US for the first time since covid. Nope, still the exact same mess in May......go figure.
