  1. I will let you contact HAL about this needed update as I am leaving for Alaska tomorrow with a first time shareholder $100 OBC. 😁 (BTW, I do agree with you.)
  2. When I spoke to HAL last Friday about requesting shareholder OBC for a cruise this coming Saturday they stated six months for the statement. I presume they are now clarifying what constitutes "current" but haven't updated the shareholder benefit pdf yet. (I used my "Notice of a brokerage order execution" for shares bought an hour earlier. No issues with using it.)
  3. Here you go. Looks like one set of instructions for all Carnivore Cruise Lines. Just different addresses to send it to. 2021 US Annual Report - Shareholder Benefit - Final.pdf
  4. Holland America Emergency Phone Numbers "At some point in your travels you may experience an emergency. With this in mind, the following emergency phone numbers are available for your use. Representatives are on hand to assist you in any way they can, including assistance with travel delays and contacting loved ones. During our regular business hours, please call: 800-426-0327. Representatives are available from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (Pacific Time). Outside of these hours and during holidays, please call 1-800-628-4771 or 1-206-286-3294.* *This number is for emergency use only; please do not call unless you are experiencing an emergency of a critical nature. Additionally, you can call the ship directly from the shore. We recommend that you use this for the most critical emergencies only: Connecting to a Holland America Line vessel at sea is simple by using Ship Dial Service. (shipdial.com) A credit card is required for all inbound phone calls to a ship. The rate is $USD16.00 per minute and billing begins at the time specified. Please have the ship's name, your party's name and stateroom number before you call. Instructions: 1. Dial 1-800-993-5483 (US). From outside the U.S. access 1-321-837-6106. 2. Listen to the announcement. 3. Listen to the menu and select the number that corresponds to the ship you are calling. 4. If you receive a busy signal or message, please hang up quickly and try your call again. Please print this page and give it to whomever you wish for dialing instructions."
  5. For someone just starting out without any broker what is the simplest way to buy 100 shares of Carnival stock?
  6. I will be on the Eurodam at the end of this month. I plan to smuggle on board a Costco size box of crackers and go into black market crackerteering. Might even make enough to pay for the next cruise.
  7. Version 4.14.0 is now available. To find your current version press "Experiences" in the center bottom banner with the ship and then press "about". (As OP of this thread it's intention is to simply notify others about updates to Navigator. Not whine about it. Thx.)
  8. Sadly, MSNBC spends more air time (on ship) with commercials on how good they are than on actual news.
  9. Navigator version 4.13 is now available.
  10. When we boarded the Noordam last month it was its first trip since the pandemic started. Still available on our TV's were the HAL team member training videos. (They were removed after about 2 1/2 weeks into the cruise) They were actually quite interesting to watch. When something/anything is reported to any HAL person they are required to pass the information to the proper person. We had several lights burned out in our cabin and reported it to the steward. It took three days before they were replaced by the electricians. No big deal as I am sure there were other work orders to be completed before us.
  11. We were on the Noordam 2 weeks ago arriving in Vancouver from the Panama Canal transition. Everyone received a letter in their stateroom informing us that for those flying out of Vancouver on the day of arrival HAL would provide complimentary Covid testing the day before. (We drove home.) As to whether this practice is still happening I do not know.
  12. Easy to carry and unroll for use. Regular size roll of gaffer tape is as big as a roll of duct tape.
  13. Wind noise- one of many reasons we carry gaffer tape rolled on a pencil with us when cruising.
  14. You might want to practice this in the test forum.... https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/860-test-forum/
  15. Sailing on the high teas... Noordam teas Post #20
  16. Masks are in your room when you board. (KN95) And available when requested to your room steward.
  17. Version 4.5.0 is now available. To find your current version press "Experiences" in the center bottom banner with the ship and then press "about".
