  1. We’ve picked up our medallions at the dock on embarkation the last two trips. Took all of an extra 30 seconds each time.
  2. DW was sent back to cabin to remove her refillable metal water bottle when going into the theater to wait for our excursion. It was the first of two trips back as she later decided she was wearing the wrong shoes. 😂
  3. We were in cabin m529 on the Regal on our cruise last month. No noise issues. Very pleasant.
  4. We got off our first Princess cruise earlier this month. My suggestion has to do with the cabin LG TV's. Princess needs to take the time and turn off the "TruMotion" setting. (Soap Opera Effect) It's a simple 4 step process using a remote with full programing functions like the one you have at home. There is nothing worse than watching a newer multi-million dollar Hollywood blockbuster film and having it appear to be filmed on a high school stage with a camcorder. Once you see it you cannot unsee it.
  5. Stockperks has been used in collaberation with CCL since November of last year. There are several threads in several cruise categories relating to it. It is fine to use.
  6. I did. The only that showed up was this thread. 😂
  7. Same layout and location said to be on the Westerdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Zuiderdam, Noordam, Oosterdam and Eurodam.

  9. It is no longer a "nickel-and-dimed" operation...
  10. Of course, everyone knows that throughout history the colors blue and red have been used subliminally to differentiate between things. Butter is no exception. 🧈
  11. Version 4.34.0 is now available for iPhone and Android. To find your current version press "Experiences" in the center bottom banner with the ship and then press "about". 12. I had a similar situation with a AARP gift card I tried to use 10 minutes after purchasing. (0 balance) Have your TA contact HAL. Have the HAL rep move the problem up the line. It was at HAL's end where the problem was for me.
  13. The HAL Navigator app was the fourth app to no long update on DW's Samsung8 phone last year before she finally broke down and upgraded to a new Samsung phone. (of course, my older iPhone6 just keeps on updating.) In the long run using an older version of the app is only a short term fix.
  14. Nothing in the database on the Magnifica. Be sure to send in a report when you return.
  15. That was my post. I had talked with Scott McCartney, Chief Customer Officer, at Stockperks and he said they hoped to have a web page by the end of December 2023. I guess it did not happen.
  16. It's a new year and I've added Oceania Cruise ships to the database. A friendly reminder to all users to the database... ******* Best viewed on desktop or laptop. (using a mouse) Steam/Sauna Database As a reminder to all, ANY change you make to the database is auto-saved. There is no temporary change while you are on it. That means if you highlight ships to compare them. It is permanent. If you change the formatting of the data in any way, or for some reason change the order of the ships it stays that way when you exit. The DB then needs to be cleaned up (not that hard to do) but still takes time. Enjoy!

  18. What phones/models are you using? Are your phone operating systems and Navigator apps up to date? (I am not having this problem using my iPhone 6s)
  19. This is from the HAL FAQ webpage. (FAQs link is found at the bottom of the HAL homepage) Q- What are your emergency phone numbers? At some point in your travels you may experience an emergency. With this in mind, the following emergency phone numbers are available for your use. Representatives are on hand to assist you in any way they can, including assistance with travel delays and contacting loved ones. During our regular business hours, please call: 800-426-0327. Representatives are available from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (Pacific Time). Outside of these hours and during holidays, please call 1-800-628-4771 or 1-206-286-3294.* *This number is for emergency use only; please do not call unless you are experiencing an emergency of a critical nature. Additionally, you can call the ship directly from the shore. We recommend that you use this for the most critical emergencies only: Connecting to a Holland America Line vessel at sea is simple by using Ship Dial Service. A credit card is required for all inbound phone calls to a ship. The rate is $USD16.00 per minute and billing begins at the time specified. Please have the ship's name, your party's name and stateroom number before you call. Instructions: 1. Dial 1-800-993-5483 (US). From outside the U.S. access 1-321-837-6106. 2. Listen to the announcement. 3. Listen to the menu and select the number that corresponds to the ship you are calling. 4. If you receive a busy signal or message, please hang up quickly and try your call again. Please print this page and give it to whomever you wish for dialing instructions.
  20. And here's a stuffed picture.
