  1. I’d fit right in to find an urge to drink outside of a pub.
  2. Not really. They’re probably spending about $50 USD for a few Fireball shots that should cost about $3.00 USD (I’m purely speculating on the liquor and the cost - but NOT what it would cost me at home to make my own.)
  3. Pretty sure I hear that same phrase from my wife when she packs for a vacation….or any other time for that matter.
  4. Is that supposed to be a biscuit and gravy? If so, it's not like any biscuit and gravy I've ever had.
  5. Looked like a great alternative port. I’m certain we couldn’t do as much walking as it appeared that you did.
  6. Pulled out the Celebration deck plans and re-read your review so that I could follow along for my upcoming cruise. Thanks again for the very detailed review.
  7. I’m tired just reading about all of the walking. My sea day would be spent sleeping on a lounger all day with a beer bucket by my side.
  8. So many to choose from, but I’ll go with the very first cruise. Driving to the Galveston port, I was not prepared to see the massive size of the ships. I was in awe. As it turns out, the 2 ships in Galveston that day were on the small side - Rhapsody of the Seas and Carnival Elation. My wife and I will be boarding one of the larger ships in just a few weeks, the Carnival Celebration. I’m sure I will be in awe at the size of that ship.
  9. Wait…..B has been in the room for the rest of the day at 3:30pm your time….sleeping for most of that time until morning?
  10. There’s a jack aster in every crowd.
  11. That temp better be the norm for our room on the Celebration.
  12. Money well spent. Thought I read somewhere that you both were stuck in middle seats. That must have been on the flight that was canceled.
  13. 9.5 hours in a middle seat? Brutal!
  14. Thanks for the reminder that I’ll have to spend a small fortune for my wife’s luggage for our trip to Miami for the Celebration cruise. Glad I cashed in all of my remaining Aadvantage miles for the flight itself to offset the bag check fees.
  15. Hard pass on Buccee’s for me ANY time I pass one. Way too much traffic. Worst one I ever passed was the one on I-10 just east of the Mobile tunnel as I was headed to Destin. I felt like going ballistic in that traffic, and I wasn’t even stopping there.
  16. I’m not about to post a golf tan picture of my ankle/foot. They can both be covered up by wearing shoes all week. Won’t happen with me, as I’ll be wearing my Oofos flip flops all week.
  17. In addition to the 5 mice that I've trapped in my own backyard in the last 2 weeks, employees on 1 of the properties that I manage have seen a 6' rat snake and a 3' copperhead this week alone.
  18. If I didn't already know what those are, I'd think you have bowling balls sitting on your counter.
  19. I might have to dip into my own supply of Liquid IV just to read this review.
  20. My son is here today after a round of golf, Fireballs, beer and Liquid IV. I showed him this dessert, and his immediately question was whether or not I could make it. I’ll try it. I'm the cook in the family, and am willing to try to cook/bake anything.
  21. I’ll go with the anger angle. (Not that there’s anything wrong with the contrary.)
