  1. I seen someone post a 4 night menu for the Mera recently and it had the Italian menu and the Gala menu. So I am saying they repeat. We have sailed from 14 to 32 day cruises on b2b's on MSC and they always repeat.
  2. I agree! We are onboard the Meriviglia for 11 nights so gonna give it a try here! These menus look great to me!
  3. Hoping you are correct on the additional shows depending on the number of passengers. Loved going to the shows every night. I actually enjoyed going to the shows on the Seashore then going to the shows in the Caberet. If there had been a full ship on the Seashore would never have been able to see a show in the Caberet every night.
  4. Thank You! Exactly what I have been looking for!
  5. The shows in the Main Theater are free and there is one nightly. On the Meraviglia there are two pay for shows but they are not in the Main theater. I believe they are $12pp and come with a drink if purchased before boarding. I have not seen a comedian on MSC but I might have missed it as I am not into comedians.
  6. Took my own on the Seaside, big mistake. Everytime I turned my blow dryer on, it blew the power and would have to wait for maintenance to come and turn the power back on. After that, learned my lesson and just use the ships blow dryer.
  7. I don't think it is anything like HA. They have several different types of music and bands. They have a dj, a silent disco, a guitarist, a pianist, a band. Lots to do. I have never been bored on MSC. They have games and activities during the day, out by the pool, even on port days.
  8. Sailed on the Divina for 32 days in a row and never once got bored. Lots of great shows, singers, trivia, poolside entertainment and other things to do. Have fun!
  9. We have done this on the Seaside 3 times now. We had to pack all of our belongings and toiletries into our luggage. We left our clothes on the hangars in the closet. The cabin steward moved everything for us to the new cabin.
  10. I did pay extra for the Surf and Turf in March of this year, it was 24.95 for 8 ounce filet mignon and a lobster tail. It was delicious but I see on the new menus they have a surf and turf night with filet and a lobster tail on gala night in the MDR for free. No need for me to order the pay for if I can get it for free this time.
  11. Thank you! I thought so, just want to make sure.
  12. Is there an upcharge for items on page 2, the lobster tail or the steak?
  13. Oh please do! We sail on Jan. 22nd on the Mera and wondering if they have the new menus.
  14. It has changed for the worse! We use to do the same as we sometimes sail for 30 days at a time. Last time I bought the package, the price went up and all 40 pieces have to be sent out at the same time, it use to be you could send out a few at a time. When they came back last time, several pieces were missing and the clothing that was returned were wrinkled and didn't even look like they were cleaned. I now either take enough clothing or wash in sink and hang to dry. Such a disappointment since this use to be should a great convenience and deal.
  15. I love the MSC shows. A lot of variety for sure. Love that they have a different show every night where as a lot of cruise lines only have a couple of shows and the rest of the entertainment is guests entertaining guests which I cannot stand.
  16. I forgot about that. It really was nice and only the b2b people were the ones allowed in the MDR. It was so much more relaxing!
  17. I sure hope not. I love their shows and IMO are much better than the shows I have seen on Carnival or NCL. I like how they will throw in some acrobats or an opera singer at the weirdest time. Tired of people wanting for MSC to change and become what "they" want. If one doesn't like the product then go sail on another cruise line that is "Americanized". I sail with MSC because they are different and not the same old same old that Carnival, NCL, Princess and Celebrity have become.
  18. You will be escorted off the ship and go through customs then will wait until the ship is cleared and go back on the ship right before they start loading the next cruise.
  19. Will definitely be disappointed if they go that route, I can get those items at home. As long as they keep their unique items I would be happy but left Carnival when their menus offered fried chicken, meatloaf, etc and looked like the Golden Coral
  20. Read on here a couple of weeks ago that MSC is rolling out new menu's for the Caribbean. Did they? Anyone have a current list of menus?
  21. Not done it on Meraviglia but same as other MSC ships in USA. Have been on Divina, Seaside and Seashore b2b2b2b, what do you want to know specifically? On Mera in January.
  22. Go into it with the thoughts that it IS different. I believe that is why we fell in love with MSC. They are not the same ole Carnival, NCL, etc. Their food is different, but delicious, once again, that is subjective. You couldn't ask for a more friendly crew! The ships are beautiful and I dare you to find a spec of dirt or rust! They take pride in their ships. Go with an open mind that it is NOT Carnival or any of the other cruise lines and you will love it.
  23. Thanks! I just booked yesterday for the 11 days on January 22nd and in my booking it shows that the Spa Pass is $195 pp for 11 days.
  24. Usually when I am ready to book (I just booked yesterday for a cruise in January), all the Aurea cabins are gone.
