  1. I go on vacation to avoid hot societal topics. I want to escape the bull puckey! No religion, no money, no job talk, no politics. Even the weather is not safe. How about......uh......hmmm.....you go first......😵‍💫
  2. Thank you!!! Noro running rampant amongst cruielines according to the media outlets! Just got me thinking!
  3. Good to have seen so many using the wash stations but also someone who wears a glove when serving themselves up at the buffet. I do the same. The 2 things I see as an orgy of bacteria is stair banisters and menus. 🤢. I typically carry paper towels for grabbing nasty banisters and a tissue for handling menus. Does anyone wipe down their cabin hand managed items once they've checked in with clorox wipes? Have you wrapped the remote control in a plastic bag(now this item wreaks in nastiness). Just some things to think about! 🤔
  4. Understood there's never a 100% chance of contracting nothing BUT what do you do in being proactive to at least aide in your own protection while onboard? This could be an idea board just to get us all thinking about what is in our control! Staying home is not an option 🤭😉
  5. Yes same with us. Battery operated.....never taken!
  6. Yes......we did ez air and chose non stop to forgo connections. Going from ontario ca to seattle is only 2.5 hours so why hassle with connections!? Its an Alaska airline flight so all we have to worry about is the doors blasting off mid air! 😅
  7. I agree....a bit of an exaggeration.
  8. Going on majestic princess and was wondering what recent tea choices have you experienced? I'm a coffee girl but my husband is an oolong, jasmine and ginger tea drinker. Do they have these choices or better to bring our own?
  9. I would wait 4 months months before the cruise because changes happen all the time! I don't want my card charged until it looks like its a definate "go". Some people are charged even if plans change and there you are standing in line 20 people deep at the desk to make sure you are refunded when you could be at spa relaxing. These excursions are so costly now and I don't want to worry about any of it!
  10. So true.......we did not regret the premier not one bit!
  11. I remember a waving napkin baked alaska parade and a little old man picked up his napkin only to forget his partial was in it and it went flying!!! 😅😅 Best part of the whole parade! 🤣
  12. Amen on this......I'm a champagne girl and husband is an XO straight up drinker. Premier covered these for us amongst so many other things and we never thought about $$$ the whole trip. Left the ship after a week with an $80 balance due. Will do it again in May.
  13. Your idea sounds best and less frantic and hurried. Never saw Victoria but don't want to rush like a maniac to see merely a scrap of it either......phooey!
  14. I was so looking forward to it even if it was just a couple of hours......dam!
  15. Seems like a .....why bother to even get off????? 9:00pm I'm in my pajamas! 9:00 to midnight!!! Why bother!
  16. If you use top coat/base combo you can get it to stay nice thru the cruise unless your goung on a round the world cruise 😆
  17. Wonder how much they would charge for a nail color change manicure if you brought your own polish. OPI is a good polish line. I use essie. Love their colors.
  18. OMG.....that is a stressful moment cause those buggars are a feat to screw together. That is exactly what we will be doing in may so hoping that they will be waiting for a few people to give us time to get those stinkers on. I'm starting to think about replacing with a ziptie.
  19. I could give up a half an hour opening and closing my door for getting free "mediocre wifi if standing in laundry room in the northwest corner".
  20. If you are looking for sedate with little to no kids...do HAL. Do celebity but stay away from holiday and summer break periods. Do princess but stay very far away from holidays and summer break periods. Do carnival if you love demon seeds along with their drunk irresponsible parentages. This I speak from experience.
  21. I agree with Lady.....do your nails at home before you leave. Nail shoppe on ship is mediocre at best and far overpriced!
  22. All ships I've been on are and my magnetic hooks are the best things I have ever brought. I just hate paperwork sitting on furniture and other hangable items. It keeps the cabin neat. The magnetic chip clips are great for tickets to hang as well as itinerary paper daily notices. Ive used hooks for hats, purses, coats, umbrellas.....etc. Go to amazon and I got hooks for 35lb weighted items.
