I hope you don't put that on your cruise health questionnaire

Last night we settled down to watch a film made by Jamie on the Ventura. He took his Mum on her very first cruise ,hoping to show her how relaxed cruising can be. Nothing of the sort, long waits for dining ,no tea spoons, stir your tea with a knife, have a battle to get your money back from canapés they could not deliver etc. I would have been gutted if that was our cruise . And sometimes the machine is rigged ,spare a thought for all those women who thought and planned for retirement at 60 only to find they had another 5-6 years to go .

I think they should have their mobile phones taken off them as they contain and are made of those nasty hydro carbons they dislike so much . Possibly take job seekers off them or name and shame them as I know where I worked they would have been sacked pronto . Too much time on their hands ,they should be put on enforced litter picking , if they are so keen on saving our planet .

Morning all ,hope everyone's good 😊 What a stormy night that was ,the rain was hammering down on the windows, enough to wake us both up from our slumber. All is calm again now. I've just been educating myself by reading up on some of the cheese companies named above . I personally used to be a "basic" cheese eater , a bit of cheddar topped with a bit of onion or tomato and I was sorted . If I wanted to push the boat out , then I would buy some of that cheese that is made backwards ..Edam ! 😉 Whilst looking these cheeses up I discovered that as well as buying it ,you could enrol for a bit of cheese tasting online ! 😮 Isn't technology brill ? I hope this idea catches on with other outlets, such as steakhouses and pubs . I can just see it now Mrs K wants a pub meal just as I'm settling down to watch Flog it on telly , It would be nice to taste a good steak washed down with a Carlsberg ,simply by logging onto .. www.lazysodnightoutfor2.com .I'd be well up for it tasting that online . Whatever cheeses you go for always remember .. Trying to understand why you feel miffed about not booking a specific cabin as SELECT do and then getting upset that your cabin is not to your liking . That was the risk you took . Reading Harrys post if your beef is the price has gone down ,then I sympathise but that is a gamble we all take . Another reason to use select as you could have moved the cruise once .

If I was on the same cruise I would tell you what cabin I had got, as I use a thing called Select fare and choose my cabin. But I'm not . What sort of person books a cheapo saver fare and then moans they cannot choose a cabin ??

Morning everyone on this cool wet miserable Bonfire Night😐 I actually prefer the night before mischievous night but I'm far too old to go knocking on peoples doors and running away .I leave that to parcel force guy. What I do requires little effort , I phone up a few BW hotels and when they answer " Best Western " I say John Wayne True Grit " and hang up .😉 I'm not bothering with any fire works this year , last year I watched them on our TV. Thinking about it it would have been better ,if I had took them outside to light them . Whatever you do stay safe and take care .😊

We have done two New year cruises on the river Seine and the captain always timed it so sailing back to the UK , we had two New Years . I must have been a devil for punishment back then as the next morning I would have energy issues but nothing to do with EDF😉

We shouldn't joke about power outages .That's just dark humour

A few years ago I bought a single burner camp stove with gas canister in it's own case ,ready for such emergencies but thankfully never needed to use it yet . I see places like Halfords still sell them for around £20 ,so not an expensive back up . The Lancaster solar lamp I was telling you all about that can be charged via USB as well is doing us proud . Only charged it once and that was weeks ago .It has 3 light settings that we have not used ,we just have it in standby and it sits near the bathroom door emitting a moon light blue colour that acts as an emergency light , that will only operate in darkness , a dawn till dusk if you like . Very happy with it and thinking of buying another one . Apart from our torches and big stash of tea lights and a couple of stove lighters I think we are set for any power outages .

Logged in on Chrome ,Edge,and Samsung all on different equipment, everything was fine Apart from the latter,Samsung informed me "Something went wrong " but suddenly sorted Itself out and was logged in . Hope your Safari does the same.
