  1. I saw a few other posts and it seemed it's about a 90% chance they don't charge you a corkage if you bring a bottle to the MDR.
  2. Being more of a wine drinker, I liked that package more than the unlimited drink one they offer now.
  3. we had someone that was intentionally exposing themselves on a Boardwalk balcony. Called security and never saw the guy again during the cruise.
  4. I noticed on some of the cruise compasses a group called Hyperlink for 18-25 year olds that has various get-togethers on the ship. Is this for every sailing? Is it something for young adults who are a little too old for the teen gatherings?
  5. I have some nice light weight sweaters I'd like to wear for dinner (not formal night), will I get sent back with them on since they don't have a collar?
  6. Coco Cay (Bahamas, Royal Caribbean) cruise port schedule | CruiseMapper
  7. my math is terrible, can you give an example of a 6:5 blackjack payout vs a 3:2 on a $6 bet?
  8. It's been like that for as long as I remember (Not just RCI). The deserts on the buffet always look nice but taste bland. Going way back, I remember the grand midnight buffets always looked nice when you walked through it but when it came time to actually eat from it was usually disappointing.
  9. Dealer hits on 17 in BJ? Don't think I've seen that before. Disappointed to see 6/5 payout.
  10. Also, what happens in the unfortunate event of bad weather? I assume they issue refunds?
  11. I'm not the type that likes to worry about having to find chairs on a sea day. Would like to have a nice relaxing breakfast in the morning not having to worry about it. But is it worth the $200 when in all probability I find chairs at a good location anyways 😄. And by good location I mean 2-4 together, doesn't even have to be in the front row of the pool
  12. hefty price but it mentions you get 2 complimentary drinks. Thinking it might be worth it not to have the stress of looking for deck chairs, although I've never usually had an issue finding some together. I assume you can come and go throughout the day as you please?
  13. I sailed once on Yeshiva week, downside that certain venues closed for the group only (I believe the Wipeout café was one of them, which would have been convenient to grab some food by the pool). Upside was pool deck was as empty as I've ever seen it on a Sea Day for Saturday, as I'm assuming many of the attendees were observing the Sabbath at that time.
  14. one thing I noticed on the Yeshiva week cruise I was on was that the pool deck/solarium was empty on the last Saturday/sea day, which I assume was due to many on the trip observing Sabbath and not out and about? Never saw a sea day so empty by the pools.
  15. I've had Beef Bourguignon several times in Paris. The picture above looks pretty authentic and hopefully tastes as good as it looks.
  16. Just curious how are you able to tell what capacity a ship is at? Do they announce it?
  17. great thank you! I'm a little early so I haven't got the e-docs yet
  18. How can someone get ahold of me on the ship if there is an emergency at home? My plan was not to use cellular or internet service while on the cruise. Can the phones in room be dialed directly?
  19. Staying near Bayfront park, looking for dinner recommendations for family of 4 (two older teen boys) that is nice but won't break the bank, preferably not a chain like Applebees. Thanks.
  20. someone mentioned in a previous thread that this would also work on Coco Cay but not Labadee
