    I really liked the old menu from previous cruise but willing to give this a chance (what choice do I have except to pay for a dining package, lol). Doesn't look bad at all but "Italian" night looks a little underwhelming. That would be the one I'm least looking forward to.

    I was looking into redeeming points (Bank of America) for onboard credits and they list two options, shared vs. individual. Why the difference if I'm on a cruise and sharing a room with my wife? Also my credit card billing period ends about a week prior to my cruise. Is that enough time for the points to be transferred to my onboard credit?

    EDIT: I found my refund. I finally got in touch with customer service. The refund was issued to the credit card used to make the reservation, not the card I booked the excursion with. Weird they would do it that way but at least I'm glad they processed the refund.

    so I just tried calling customer service, 1pm EST. I went through their labyrinth menu tree, finally got to "please hold for a representative" and 30 seconds later a message said "our offices are currently closed, please call back during normal business hours". So 1pm EST on a Thursday is not normal business hours? 😠

    thanks, how soon were you able to prebook, a few weeks out? Our cruise this spring still isn't open for pre booking in cruise planner

    were you able to pre-book any shows or did they only open up once on-board? Is the musical still "Cats" (my least favorite Broadway show, 😆). I'd like to see the comedians this time, we had young children last time we were on Oasis and couldn't go. Do you have to pre-book them as well?

    that stinks, I guess when you have a captive audience you can do stuff like that. Although I think a lot of land based casinos are trying to do that as well.

    what are the table minimums usually for blackjack? I remember they used to have "happy hour" specials where they would offer $3 minimum hands. Curious if they are still doing this. Also do they us a shoe or continuous shuffle machines? I'm not a card counter but was wondering as it seems many casinos are going away from shoe games

    It has been over 10 years so my memory has faded, plus I don't think I spent much time there the last time. Are they cash only? Do they pay winnings in cash, or does everything go on your cruise account?

    purchased a cheap excursion on Black Friday (13.99) then changed my mind two days later. Canceled it and it says refund issued on my cruise planner but as of this morning no refund is showing on my credit card.

    so it sounds like it might be a good idea to grab 2 bottles the night before arriving in port and bring them in our carry on when boarding. Save a little bit on the MDR markups

    I was interested in a beach excursion that leaves at 11:30 (ship arrives in port at 7am). Can we shop around Charlotte-Amelie before and get on the shuttle to the beach (i.e. where do you board the shuttle for trip to Magen's bay excursion, is it close to Charlotte-Amelie and/or port).

    That's interesting, it did say 15 espresso based drinks on the description. didn't dawn on me that's what it literally meant. Where can you use it? Does the MDR make cappuccino's at breakfast?

    Is it worth it? $31/person/7 night cruise. Says it can't be used at Starbucks, where can you use it? Are there coffee shops on board the Oasis?

    do you think if an excursion is no longer being offered at a discount that would be an indicator that it is close to being filled?

    yes I didn't realize that and I ordered and it came out like a hard boiled egg. I asked waiter about it and he said for safety reasons that's how they serve the benedict unless you asked for it soft cooked
