Testing provides a false sense of security. Examples: If you have not been vaccinated you may test 3 days before cruise. If you have been vaccinated 2 days before cruise. Why 3 vs 2? We just got off a cruise where we had to test before the cruise 3 or 2 days. However. Many people tested Positive after their 7 day cruise. You travel the day before or day of the cruise. Can you become Positive from someone you traveled with or near? Regardless if this is not an NCL Cruise ine specific change, the person who posted was trying to inform us. Why don't you who find fault because it is not NCL. just read the info and move on? What value are you adding to the post?

It is really a disaster now a days. Before when we had formal nights, we complained about tux/suit. Now it's casual. We complain about long pants/collared shirts. It is really tough to determine what to pack! Why cruise? Too much of a hassle! SMH 😆 LOL

Fully understand your comments. All Cruise lines are understaffed. We just got off of Oasis OTS. Same comments by many passengers. Ship ran out of some wines, bourbon, etc. Two of the major shows were not presented over 2 weeks. Aqua and Cats. People complained so was to crowded with 3,000 passengers yet so hold 6,500. Read the CC forums for MSC. RCI, etc. Basically the same complaints. The world is changing and we must adjust.

Let's be honest with ourselves! Nothing is Free. Regardless of the Cruise line, you are paying for a drink pkg, Specialty Restaurants. Internet, etc. Either via a % like NCL, Celebrity has a basic fair and then extras added to it and so does Seabourn which is buried in the cruise price. They all should do the same to tips, include that in the cruise price. When they charge $8 for a beer or $3.50 for a Coke, you will not get them free. You may think so, but you paid in one way or another.

Regardless of the cruise line, I have never been denied alcoholic drinks in any ship port. What specific port are you talking about and what ship?

Just rechecked my Seashore Cruise Specialty Restaurant Package Prices. Still the same as it was before.

I know now I will never go YC! Surely don't want to die in my cabin. LOL What is the bed brand and model? Google it and buy one when you get home.

I personally believe that these prices vary based on ship. I have seen the same logic on the other Cruise lines, too. Seashore is the newest ship, so everything costs more on her. Big difference between the two ships. I would buy the UD pkg if the Seashore had those prices you show. Like you, I would assume it would be the Dining Experience section of the menu. Thanks! Found it again. Must sign in to your cruise. Then select add to cruise. Dinner & Bubbles $135/Adult - Ocean Cay or Bucher Cut w/bottle of Champagne 4 Dining Experiences $155/Person - Ocean Cay, Bucher Cut, Teppanyaki & Halo Butcher's Cut Chef Table $99/Person 3 Dining Experiences $110/Person - Ocean Cay, Bucher Cut & Halo Do these options only allow you to pick from the Dining Experience Selection of the menu only? Not specific in the details on the Internet. I will ensure that I keep this from now on.

What are the current prices for the Seashore Specialty Restaurant Dining Packages? I find it almost impossible to find MSC information on the Internet. Is it Mr or the Internet? LOL TIA

Please let us know what you were able to order with the Duo Pkg. From what I understand is that there is only a selected portion of each menu you may order from without paying an upcharge of 50% of an item that is not included in the selected portion of each menu. TIA

Apparently, from the above, there is little shaded areas on the One Pool Deck. What about Top Sail Lounge? We cannot be in the sun for any length due to Skin Cancer. TIA

I just started a thread about upgrading from a BB to a YC Inside. Received valuable advice from others. Each person has their reasons for upgrading. So, we have choices and only each of us can make our own decisions to upgrade or not. Stay Safe and Happy Cruising!

Thank you very much for your honest reply. I thought the same thing. We really would not use a Butler. Don't sit in the sun or use the pool. However, never stayed in YC and was just curious if I was missing something when I read the YC perks. I always respect and appreciate some ones advise especially if they experienced it.
