Always wondered how some of these travel sites can offer better comps than Carnival . Saw one for 100 obc plus room price was $200 less than Carnival website?

The voucher letter is in the room the day before the party. You go to any bar and order a drink and it is comped on your s and s card. You get a receipt for the drink showing $0 charge.

Same impression in regard to TOO BIG....over 5,000 hungry people...Platinum/Diamond party overwhelmed with way too many people. Probably best we stick with VIsta class ( horizon) or dream class. Had the worst Tepan/Grill meal ever....tough Lobster even tougher shrimp.....

Watch out for the foam machine masquerading as a beer dispenser. I thought I was at the laundry mat with all the suds before brew.

Right on the money....customer service area packed with cruisers....we are diamond, entered the Plat and Diamond line....two people from the other line, yelled at us to go to the back of the line..I explained we were Diamond, and he said.." Expletive, you, wait like the rest of us"...carny guy came out escorted us to the desk. I am constantly amazed at the typical Carnival cruiser these days...simply amazing.

Dont matter if you are red, gold or first ever cruise....just walk in the Welcome Back party...no challenge at all....

Anything is an improvement.....the lounge in Port Canaveral stocked with Platinum was way overloaded...no place to sit, and they still kept packing Platinum in......

Yes indeed...our thoughts exactly. Seems to be getting worse on Carnival....mobs of teens running absolutely wild with no regard to others. We'll still sail Carnival , but would do a lot more if they get this problem solved. Don't see this problem on Celebrity Cruise.

You should have seen the rush on the Mardi Gras....two door entrances, pushing ,shoving.....the people in front of me shoved another guest after they thought he was crowding in line. Reminds me of the old cattle drives.....my O my...

No more treats at the party either.....nada....

Now that we have a glut of diamond/platinum members.....we noted the welcome back party only served cheap wine, beer and HI C with Rum. You do get a card that says you are entitled to one drink , one hour from any bar on ship...must not exceed $12.50....that's it.

Just got our OBC stock credit. I had faxed, but came back with "missing " documents? I then sent same documents via email/attachments......got approved in 2 days.

WE always try and do East. I dont know any western locations that can match Aruba for beach quaility, Just seems nicer on the east...

Did the email to shareholders....got a form letter saying they have received and could be up to 1 week before sailing for notification. Cruise is Nov 12.

Just got off Mardi gras....went with Brass Magnolia....excellent, good presentation too.....superb. Hurricane is a must go to also...

Our go to drink is the classic old fashion.....we've had good and bad on carnival cruises, best was on Horizon at the Pig BB Q.....didn't want the smoked Old Fashion, just the classic with Woodford Reserve. Whats the best bar on Mardi gras for a great Old Fashion .?

Thanks....Hoping the dinner menu at Cucina/Chibang is more enhanced than lunch menu. Getting confused over what is complimentary and what is fee based. SO.......lunch at the two is comlimentary, BUT...dinner is fee?

You’ll find a great variety on the menu every time you drop by! But, did you know that you always have the option of switching it up and dining at any of the other restaurants? That includes a complimentary visit to Cucina del Capitano (after 7:45 pm) and Chibang!, additional visits are only $8.00 per person. Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse is complimentary all sailing long. That's three all-inclusive specialty dining spots, complimentary for a limited time! Is this something new....was aware the Cucina and Chibang were complementary at lunch, but a charge for dinner. The dinner menu was expanded from the lunch menu......So, we can dine at these two with no charge? Need to make reservation? Curious...

I would like to see some data on the number of cruisers in each group...# of gold, silver, diamond. I"ll bet it's overwhelmingly for Platinum. Last cruise, the seating for Platinum to board was standing room only.....Carnival made the call for Platinum to board, and 1 minute later they called the general boarding....Call the cowboys, the stampede has started.

Getting to Platinum seems pretty easy and quick.....but Platinum locks you in for ages...till Diamond...just way, way too many platinum.

Pepsi vs Coke....not sure what the big concern is?
