    Yes, the same thing.....over and over. Carnival once had a INDIAN site in the rear of the ship...by the pool. Had lots of INDIAN favorites.. Tikka Masala, Chutney, Chickpea Curry and more...Naan fresh too. Delicious .....now sadly gone.

    So why should Carnival offer more perks? There are already so many Plat/Diamond on the ship that the priority tender is a joke. So is boarding. True....last cruise we were waiting to board ( Diamond) then began boarding............., 30 seconds later they called Platinum.

    The Platinum leap to Diamond is way too much time. You can get to Platinum pretty quick, but from Platinum to Diamond is a stretch. Oh well, no enough solid perks anyway

    Noted we have a few Carnival Gift cards, seemingly purchased here locally. Once on board, how do we redeem these.....and is there a limit on how many can be used per trip?

    Just dont know about Mexico these days....lots of crime and violence. WE went to an all inclusive few years back....guards were patrolling the perimeter with Automatic weapons, and they had a jeep with a gun mounted on the back...just not a comfortable place.

    Thanks for the info....so the pre test would ONLY apply to cruises 16 days or more? Wasn't aware of 16+ day cruises by Carnival....Europe maybe?

    Curious about cruise insurance. Read several articles....looking for a policy that covers CANCEL FOR ANY REASON coverage. We missed out on a cruise a few years back due to illness 2 days before sail, and did not have insurance. OUCH....... What's the best approach, and most cost effective.....Cruise insurance thru Carnival or thru several other sites (travelinsurance),etc. Thoughts?

    So....day 2 on a 6 day cruise..is a lobster/prime rib night in MDR? Want to do steakhouse, but don't want to miss Prime RIb night in MDR.

    Good points....when we were served the lobster in MDR, I couldn't believe how tiny it was...later found out it was ( as you noted), a spiny lobster. Pretty bland, and yes over cooked. Nothing like the East Coast Lobsters...mmmmmmm

    Yes, Vegan wife gets a wee bit tired of the same Indian Plate.....Question...6 day cruise...love prime rib. We are trying to plan the steakhouse visit, but don't want to miss the MDR Prime Rib night. What night for Steakhouse? We visit Steakhouse day of reservation, and the chef prepares an amazing Vegan dish for wife...very cool.!!
