Personally I’d only bring one sleeveless top & add another long sleeved top. I always bring a swimsuit. Add a warm hat & gloves to that raincoat & maybe a fleece vest. I’d not bring the black jacket or change it to a hooded rain jacket. Waterproof a pair of sneakers

Lois I’m relieved you’re getting the shingles vaccine. With the health issues you’ve faced the past couple of years getting shingles would be miserable. Neither Les nor I had any reaction from the first injection. The second injection was a different story for both of us…our doc had warned us not to plan anything important for a couple of days afterwards…he was right. Melody

It’s a two shot vaccine. Shingles can be very, very uncomfortable. If you’ve ever had chicken pox you can get shingles. I’m surprised your doc hasn’t recommended that you get the shots

Whatever you do don’t get the shingles with any other vaccine. That one put both of us on our butts for w days (& hubs never has a reaction to anything)

IronMan is so well named. Hubs has done one, then ‘retired’ to ultramarathons. Now down to much more sane runs

Ugh, so hard to get good folks working trades right now. We signed on for a bathroom renovation yesterday. Had to laugh when the guy walked in (5 minutes early). He was the same person that sold us our windows 10 years ago, we instantly all felt comfortable. They don’t use subs, only company employees (shortest time anyone has been there is 15 years & they all own the company. They won’t be able to start until November but it’ll take 3 days max (& that’s with the city inspection). Removing tub to walk-in shower, vanity & commode. Nice military discount & pay in cash discount too. Our heat broke last night!45 degrees cooler today!! Feels great, I had to find leggings & long sleeved tshirt!!! Melody
