  1. Mr Toblerone, Melissa, hope you have a lovely weekend at the lake. Our weather took a chilly turn all of a sudden, yesterday was a high of 40F & our first frost.last night. Very glad that softball for our grandgirl ended on Tuesday!! Melody
  2. We don’t have an OTR close by but I’ve bought a few things on line. Take some pictures of your outfits, they sound great. Where is your cruise going?
  3. Mr Toblerone (will you share your real name). Hope your chemo goes easily. Hair will grow back. Good that you get to enjoy your lake. Will say a prayer for you. Melody
  4. We put the flannel sheets on this morning. 35 outside, 48 inside. Not turning heat on yet so flannel sheets & UGG comforter. 97 2 weeks ago!!
  5. Hope he’s not terribly ill & you don’t get it. How’s your kitchen Reno going?? We’re getting ready for major bathroom reno next month. Melody
  6. You have to be provided a bill within a contracted period of time. I believe maximum is one year from service. Not your problem they couldn’t bill in a timely manner
  7. Was the text from your insurance company or the endoscopy center? I’d call the insurance company, there’s a time limit on when they can bill you & I believe it is a maximum of 1 year. Personally, I don’t think you’ll have to pay it as they did not bill in a timely manner. Melody
  8. Oh Anita, so sorry your long awaited trip cancelled. Backs & necks, ugh! Good that you got your $$ back or transferred to next year. Glad Ian wasn’t such a bad boy to you. Is Mom thinking of moving to FL out of the Arizona dry heat?? We were really thinking about a condo in Ft Myers area…think we’ll wait a bit. Our nieces did survive the hurricane, but quite a bit of flood damage. Both have flood insurance so all should be ok. Their condos are built to survive a 4-5 hurricane, just not the storm surge.
  9. Celebrity at Elite 1 bag each & 2 items pressed & 1 item dry cleaned. Elite Plus is 2 bags per person, plus the dry cleaning & pressing. I do use the dry cleaning & pressing. Never use the laundry
  10. That’s what I expected you’d come around to! It’s hard to find a doctor, hairdresser, dentist that you like. You find one you stick with them!! At least I did
  11. Never had a suite (other than one junior suite last year)but cruise pretty often
  12. I’ve received free laundry for many years, don’t use it, harsh detergents & hottest water & hot dryers are not friendly to my clothes. I just wait till we get home. I do wash out lingerie in the sink if over a 14 night cruise
  13. Comes in handy when a soft-sided suitcase gets ripped apart or a hard-sided suitcase gets the zipper ripped out. I’ve repaired shoes, used as a blister plaster. I’ve even duct-taped a pair of pants
  14. Nieces are still cleaning up. The damage in Ft Myers Beach, Sanibel & Captiva is truly horrendous such a tragedy. Thanks for asking. Melody
  15. Go interview the docs at the location closest to you, it might be a good fit, if not move with your doc
  16. I remember when we lived at Patrick AFB. Our backyard was the Banana River. We had to sandbag several times & did take everything off the floors twice. We had a ranch style duplex. Kids still talk about filling sandbags
  17. My essential, hmm. Small roll of duct tape (only one cruise in over 30 didn’t use it or give it away). Extra week of prescription meds. I do bring my own (2 oz travel size) shampoo & conditioner & dry freeze hair spray. I line my suitcase with a cinch type kitchen can trash bag, keeps everything dry (in case of rain) on way to cruise & doubles as a dirty laundry bag going home. I normally do a color palate of black, white & either cobalt blue or hot pink. Everything goes with everything. I too bring a pair of black silk pants. I have to bring a couple pair of shoes as I have foot issues
