I will start with 2021 just to show the number of passengers on the cruise: 11-21 Grand Princess 5 day Costal 300 passengers!!!! Glorious 11-21 Grand Princess 10 day Sea of Cortez 600 passengers...best cruise ever 3-22 Majestic 7 day Mexican Rivera 1300 passengers......okay 3-22 Majestic 7 day costal 1500 passengers......okay 8-22 Island 14 day Baltic Near capactiy....wonderful itinerary, didn't care for Island 8-22 Island 14 day Iceland Near Capactiy.....wonderful itinerary, got covid along with 1/2 the passengers.

Yes, we need all kinds of reviews to help us decide on future cruises. On my last cruise on the Island Princess (30 days Baltic/Iceland) I had a similar experience as JamieLogical has had. It was very disappointing. So much so that we got refunds on our 6 future cruise deposits. We have been on Princess 200+ days and just have seen the decline, even before covid. Sad really.

I had written down the prices on a few cruises before the sale and now it is about $2000 more.........some sale.

I suggest you don't buy any, your problem is solved.

I heard on the local news that it would be into the New Year before SW is even running somewhat normal. Maybe call your insurance and ask if they would cover the difference in flight cost? We missed a train in Italy due to a flight delay and had to get a more expensive train and the insurance covered the cost.Good luck.

On our last three cruises post covid on Princess(60 days total) it has been this way for us too. Pretty bad. So much so, that we just got our 4 Future cruise deposit refunded from Princess. We kept thinking it was just one of those things, but after the last one........it can't be. Princess is not what it used to be for us. We are elite and have over 200+ days, so, we are not first time on Princess. Before I get flamed, everyone should do what they feel is best for them. I am just saying OUR experience was not very good. We have one more cruise booked with Princess, but after that will probably look else where.

It has been raised to $20 per day on Princess and NCL, starting in a few months.

No idea. But, it is all his choice, has nothing to do with me. If I tipped my room steward $100 and he gave 1/2 to someone, I would not care. It is the fact that I am forced to tip people who I have no contact with that I don't like. I liked it better when we gave cash in envelopes to the people who actually helped us. If in the past, I gave our room steward a nice tip(in envelopes) and he/she gave it to the cruise line, I would not care. But, giving it to the cruise line directly........I do it, but I do not like it.

Today, in my home state, I had a wonderful massage and I tipped really well. That is the way it should be. If you get great service, you tip well. I didn't tip the person who cleaned the office, or the spa. I tipped the person who helped me directly. All the cruise lines should pay their employees job appropriate salaries and if we get good service, we can tip them more. If the price of the cruise goes up, so be it. Why do people who work hard and give great service get the same as people who slack? It's not the way it should work............

I give up. I was just trying to help giving the suggestion of buying CN with shareholder benefit. It's has been said it is not even possible anymore to use shareholders benefit to buy it, so what's the big deal? Do whatever you want. I never said I had $1000 of OBC, just $1000 of CN, read the post. Why does every single post by anyone have to be dissected? I know what I have, I know what I paid for it (nothing) so don't worry about it. Do what is best for you. Cheers.

Agree, it used to be so easy to use it on CN. In fact I have $1000 worth that I need to use. Oh well........we already get free specialty dining. Maybe pictures? I guess we will start drinking, haha.

Definitely pre covid. That's a bummer if they don't allow it now. Can it be used in the casino?

Then it is not for you. For me it works great.

I never buy drinks, do onboard shopping and we DIY shoreside. If I could use it on daily service charge I would, but it can't be used that way. To me it is free money to get a $250-$500 credit for my next cruise. Everyone should do what makes them happy.

How does it? I go on long cruises, get $250 OBC, use that for cruise next. If it costs me any money, I have never paid..............
