  1. I’m just curious if anyone has received their free yearly cruise through Casino Royale? The year started over April 1st and this is my first eligible year, so I don’t want to miss it. Thanks in advance.
  2. Hello fellow cruisers. I have a quick question I am hoping someone can help me out with. I hit prime at Casino Royale and part of the perks is the free interior cruise once a year, 7 days or less. The perks start over today, April 1st. My question is, how far after the 1st does the free yearly cruise show on your Casino Royale page? A casino host last month told me it will be on April 1st, but all I see is my normal casino cruise offers. Thanks in advance.
  3. We also did self-assist and were off the ship and in our car, within 15 minutes. The parking garage though, UGH!! From the time we got to our car, until the time we paid, was about 30-35 minutes. There has to be a better system for the next time the machines are down.
  4. We really did. When we got to the port we were given boarding #4, but when they called #1, they called Aurea guests also, so we were able to get on early. The dining room was quiet, rarely ever busy. Service there was quite fast because of it. The Top 19 Solarium was nice because it was just Aurea guests, but it was always busy. There are two small hot tubs and a few cabanas, but they were always packed. There was quite a bit of empty space, so I feel like they could have done a little more here. The bar was nice because you didn't have to wait long for drinks. Our favorite perk was the Thermal Suite. There was a lot to do there and it smelled amazing. Port days, you can come and go as you please. Sea days you have to call and make an appointment. At first, we were blah about the idea, but we never had an issue calling and them saying "you can come now." The massages (extra charge) were excellent. If you decide to get one, ask for Janette.
  5. You can add 15062 (bed by the closet) to this list! We were also on this sailing. Great review.
  6. We just debarked on Sunday. On embark, the buffet is open and a total madhouse! Hola! is open on embark day (12-3 and 6-10), and has food à la carte. The sports bar is also open on embark day (I think at 3pm) and has food. Best bet is to eat something small before you get on because there is a lot happening.
  7. Skyline is on Seascape. We just debarked on Sunday. We were in an Aurea Suite and Skyline is open seating for all Aurea guests, for dinner only. It is a normal sit down, same menu as the other dining rooms. Open 5:45-9:30pm daily. No breakfast, lunch or buffet in this dining room.
  8. For what it's worth, we got off Seascape on Sunday and had the Premium Plus. We were only allowed drinks up to $15, although all of their $15 drinks were changed on the menus to $16. After talking to the Bar Manager, they did nothing for us. We were allowed to pay the difference, as we were told it started on the sailings last week. Lastly, we were able to use the package at Hola! Hola allowed all packages except for the Non-Alcoholic Package, and any frozen margaritas were NOT included in any of the packages.
  9. You should work Marketing for MSC because you know what’s going on! Hahaha.
  10. You’re welcome. It was just on the difference. He said it was around $.40 USD.
  11. Confirmed. My husband got a drink for $18 and paid the $3 difference with added extra gratuity.
  12. I have mine which clearly states up to $16 and was told my the Bar Manager, “it is a mistake and we cannot honor it.”
  13. Yes, I’ll post some. Please check and my latest post and you’ll see that some menus are Winter and some are Summer, which is throwing everything off. When we upgraded we paid the new pricing, for the $16 limit, hence the frustration.
  14. Some of the menus are old $9 & $15. Some menus are new $10 & $16. We met a bartender last night on the ship who told us this is known internally and that MSC really messed up. Apparently it is going to be $16, but until the entire ship is updated with the new menus, they are not honoring the new $16 limit, yet they are charging the new higher price. Annoying. He said the guests last cruise were very frustrated with the same issue. My confusion is this; if you only got some of the menus in, why put half of them out that have to old prices and half of them out with the new prices? Again, it’s not a huge deal, we can find things $15 and under. However, it’s the principal that when I upgraded from EP to PE, I paid the new PE price and it’s not being honored. </rant>
  15. 100%! All the old Premium drinks that were $15 are now $16. So we should have just kept the Easy Plus and saved $300 because we’re only getting EP drinks now. I’m not one to complain or b*tch, but I’m irritated. GS and the Bar Manager didn’t seem to care at all. They said “yes the drink package prices went up and so did the drink prices themselves, but the max is still $15.” They are completely disregarding what their website AND my cruise contract says. Can we find things to drink under $15? Yes. At this point, it’s the principal and I’m irritated.
  16. Update: Spoke to the Bar Manager who told us we were wrong and the Premium Package only includes up to $15, although all of their Premium drinks are now $16. They told us it was a mistake and refuse to honor the $16 limit. Also, some bars are charging the difference and other bars are making you pay full price. It is absolutely ridiculous that we paid for Premium, the site says up to $16, but the ship won’t honor it and all we are able to get are Easy Plus drinks. First and last MSC Cruise.
  17. Confirmed on Seascape. You pay the difference now.
  18. as my original post shows, we are currently on Seascape. I will find out in a few minutes, if that is accurate on here, and let you know.
  19. We are currently on Seascape and have the Premium Extra Package. We tried to purchase a drink listed at $16 and were denied, with them saying drink only up to $15. We explained that a few weeks ago the price of the package went up, which included the price of thinks. We explained that the limit is now up to $16 according to the website AND the sales person who helped me upgrade from East Plus (included with cruise fare) to the Premium over the phone last week. Off to Guest Services we went. Not to complain, but to inquire, to make sure we understood properly. They are telling us it’s in fact $15 and the website is wrong. “An error.” Has anyone experienced this? I’m confused. The drink we tried to get was $15 a few weeks ago and we could get it with Premium. The price went up to $16 when the package went up, but they are saying the site is wrong.
  20. Hi fellow cruisers. First time cruising with MSC this weekend. On other cruise lines we’ve always kept our time the entire week, based on where we cruise out of. However, I’ve seen some posts talking about people changing their times based on the time zone the ship is in. We are leaving Miami on the Seascape, so are we on Miami time the entire cruise? I don’t want to get left behind in a port. LOL Thanks in advance.
  21. I am surprised you're up and functioning this morning. Last night looked like SO MUCH FUN! lol Safe trip home.
  22. Hi @L1211, I have been enjoying your review and just read through 8 pages. Since page 1, I have been annoyed for you that the girls didn't have thermal access in the Aurera Suite. Please tell me this was fixed, and what was the issue? We are in an Aurera Suite on Seascape in 4 days.
