  1. Anyone on the Silhouette right now that knows if they have IPads? Was hoping to get one with OBC on our cruise that starts Monday.
  2. Celebrity docks in Bayonne, which is in New Jersey.
  3. It’s one bottle per person of drinking age in your cabin. Link to Celebrity’s FAQ’s about alcohol https://www.celebritycruises.com/int/faqs/faq-fragments/enjoying-your-cruise-fragments/beverage-packages
  4. Your beverage package is not used in the Retreat Lounge, all drinks there are complimentary to all suite guests. You use it at all bars and restaurants on the ship.
  5. Not 100% on this as I’ve never brought a guest, but I believe it’s $20 for breakfast, $30 for lunch and $50 for dinner, all per person.
  6. Suite passengers are permitted to bring guests into Luminae, but it needs to be with the approval of the Maitre D and there is also a fee for each person that gets charged to the suite passengers account. You need to arrange this ahead of time and not just show up and sometimes you may need to be flexible with your dining time.
  7. Whoever you are speaking to at Celebrity that claims to be an executive does not know what they are talking about! Suite passengers DO NOT pay the room service fee!
  8. I didn’t even realize that was their first post! OP, 66 cruises and you just found these boards?? You post a year after your cruise to complain about $13? I’m suspecting you were not in a suite, so OP please tell us what cabin # you stayed in so the record could be set straight!
  9. 6 months late? You say you cruised in Feb of 2023? Unfortunately there had to be some miscommunication onboard your sailing. Yes, Celebrity now charges a room service delivery fee (except for continental breakfast) but suites are excluded from that fee and you said you were in an aft suite. You were given wrong info which is not surprising as Celebrity has tried too many different changes at once which in turn confused many crew members.
  10. I hate to see people who abuse the butler as if they are their personal servant and have them jumping through hoops to please them and their demands! I asked because the shoreside concierge mentioned Prateek and Racquel as being the lead butlers onboard right now. I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting either and wanted to see if anyone has had them dedicated for their suite, or if they were the head butlers overseeing the retreat team servicing the Sky Suites.
  11. Just curious what your cruise status (Sapphire) has to do with the dress code discussion?
  12. Anyone onboard the Silhouette now or recently who can tell me who the dedicated butlers are servicing the upper tier suites? TIA!
  13. Thanks for this, but it doesn’t say which port it’s docking in, unless Berth P/S 1 stands for Port Seraphine?
  14. Thank you! We’ve sailed Silhouette before in a suite, with Luminae and the old Michaels club. First time back on her with the new “Retreat” It just seems that if you want to enjoy the pool it’s a long way to go to do it from the retreat deck. One of the reasons we stay onboard in certain ports we’ve been to before is to enjoy the pool area without the crowds.
  15. Does anyone know which port the Silhouette docks at when in St Lucia. My husband has a zip lining excursion planned there next month and the company just sent info on where to meet for transportation pick up at either of these cruise piers. Port Point Seraphine or Port La Place Carenage? TIA!
  16. Will be our first time back on Silhouette since it’s been redone, also will be in the Retreat. How did you find the retreat deck? Was it very crowded on sea days, hard to find chairs? I’ve read there isn’t much shade either.
  17. Deck 15 and 16 has the retreat deck area, the hot tub is on deck 15, the bar on 16.
  18. There is no rule about “no jeans” on chic night. Celebrity gives their recommendation for chic evening wear, but jeans are permitted every night as long as they are not the ripped style.
  19. I believe the Silhouette has a bar on one of the two retreat decks, along with a hot tub. Will find out next month!
  20. These 2 links will give you the info you are looking for. camp at Sea program is ages 3 and up. There is a playroom for younger children, but a parent must be present. I believe babysitting is available for Retreat guests only. https://www.celebritycruises.com/faqs/faq-fragments/enjoying-your-cruise-fragments/camp-at-sea https://www.celebritycruises.com/blog/cruise-with-a-toddler
  21. The M and S class ships will not have pools in their retreat areas when they are renovated, not possible to just add it. The few ships that had the upgrade do have a hot tub water feature.
  22. Was last on the Silhouette in 2019 before the addition of the Retreat deck. Will be sailing her again at the end of Feb. For anyone who’s been on it since, did you enjoy this space? I believe there is just a hot tub water feature, are there cold showers where you could cool off under if it’s really hot? Was it very crowded on sea days? Easy to find chairs? Shaded areas? Is there a bar on that level, or does the server need to go down to the pool bar to get your drinks? Appreciate any info!
  23. You will only be able to get one drink at a time. Many just pass by a bar on the way to their cabin and ask for an unopened beer which you can take with you. Ask your room attendant to empty the mini bar and you can stock your own water, beer and soda. If you order drinks from room service you will be charged for them, plus the room service fee. They are not included as part of the drink packages.
