The Spirit was great to Alaska and if you like table cloths they have them every night in the MDR! -
need help figuring out the best way to pay for my cruise
n6uqqq replied to ultrafighter's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I pay for all my cruises with gift cards from AARP or Allstate at 10 percent off plus I buy them online with my BofA cash rewards Visa which yields an additional 3 percent off. The one thing to consider about using gift cards is you are married to them once you buy them. If you have to cancel your cruise that is all you will be refunded is in new gift cards. Like others said I would buy the cards as close to final payment as possible. -
As long as you have access to the image no printing is necessary. You can input the number at the kiosk easy peasy.

Formerly known as the Burrito Bar. Got to make way for the pay venues! -

It is in a very odd hard to find position on deck 4. Used to be the Robusto Cigar bar. Don't they have some music with alter ???? -

You didn't miss a whole lot in the town of Hoonah. Nice but small. Did see a eagle's nest and a small cemetery. -

The internet was a disaster when I was on the Splendor from May 2-10. The Hub app was pretty non functional also and the " What's happening" section NEVER worked the entire cruise and this is arguably the most important thing for people to know what is going on for shows etc. You would think in the absence of this working they would print and distribute a paper copy to all the guests, but no the only way was to go to a location like guest services. -

I have a back to back booked also two 5 day cruises Nov 2 and Nov7th. Miracle is one of my favorites but as I posted earlier I am quite suspicious she may be on the move Down Under. -
Carnival Miracle Dry Dock 2022 - Radiance Takes Over

Carnival AU says new ship coming soon. Miracle gets pushed up dry dock. LA already has the Panorama and Radiance. Yes I am speculating, but the writing is on the wall. -

And then likely sent to Australia! -
A small sampling of the lovely gawdiness. Also, if you are a fan of table cloths, you are in luck! The spirit has them every night of the cruise still! Splendor had none even on formal night on my recent AK cruise.

Just went on the Spirit to Alaska and I love the old gal! She has the classic gawdiness of older ships and I love every bit of it! I have been on all the Spirit class ships now and intentionally book them almost all the time. By far the easiest ship to navigate from front to back on all decks and they never seem crowded even at capacity. I hope Carnival keeps them around for several more years!

If i had a drink package I wouldn't go either!

Diamond lunch and the diamond/platinum party is cancelled on all sailings through 6/30 due to staff shortage. 50 OBC is for the cancelled diamond lunch event. Platinum and diamonds are getting 2 drink coupon vouchers in lieu of the drink party. For me personally this is better than going to the cluster that this event has become.
