  1. I am not sure why that happened to you. I've done it this way many times over the years. In fact, the good news is you don't come home to any of the junk. The only exception was getting it one time over the course of 130 or so days away and that was because the back up postal worker messed up. By the way this is why I start forwarding the mail two weeks ahead of time so if there are any issues I can speak to our regular carrier. Keith

  3. We have done this several times. We done it one of three different ways. 1. If you are close with a neighbor see if they will take it in for you (we did one time) 2. We forwarded the mail to a family member who lives about 50 minutes for us (a few times) 3. When the family was away for a few years we would forward it to a P.O Box ( a few times) USPS will not hold mail more than 30 days as a rule. Occasionally the local postmaster might make an exception but not where we have lived. I you do forward your mail to another address I would make the effective day two weeks before you go. It is a manual process and sometimes it takes them a few days to get it in place. I just like knowing it's all done before we leave. Also, sign up for informed delivery with the post office. I like that as it gives me a feel for what mail has come my way. You see it regardless of a vacation hold or a forwarding of address. Over the years we eliminated all hard copy bills and started that before our first world cruise so when we get home we would have only one box of mail which that time of year are mainly magazines and tax related forms. 4. Let me add the majority of the excursions are done by Crystal like old Crystal. Added to them are A&K which you will be able to tell as these are very unique with a higher price. Keith
  5. Nine years ago in Japan in March with a lot of snow. You can see Serenity if you look closely. Keith
  6. These photos should help Serenity Aquamarine Bathroom created in 2018 Keith Aquamarine Classic.
  7. We see you all. Just pulled up the webcam and what do I see first? Yes, Crystal Serenity at the Port Of Miami at Terminal J I believe. Keith
  8. Photo from nine years ago. This time Hong Kong. Keith
  9. Makes no sense if you are trying to get general emails. If you book trough TA then they get things like your confirmations for bookings but not general emails. If you want to get promotional emails sign up on the Crystal site and you have done this already and not getting them use a different email. Keith
  10. I would try a new e-mail address. I know of examples where people didn't get the e-mail, switched to another one for these purposes and gets them. Keith
  11. LoveBora and bayonejoe, you are both very welcome and I am very happy to help. I have reached out to someone at Crystal who I have for other related items with My Account and the Website in the past. This person will be able to determine if it is a system issue or actually done by design. Keith
  12. Do follow TER777's advice. Let me add, when you write to on board guest services include in your e-mail the reservation number for yourself and your name and the same for your friend. This way they can combine this into one reservation. Doing this is great because if you don't then the system will think two tables are reserved when only one is and that frees up the table for someone else making a reservation. Keith
  13. I am not sure what the outcome will be on this but I am trying to find out why each segment of the World Cruise for those of you who are on a full world cruise wouldn't be treated the same way as back to back cruises. I am not sure if this is truly a policy issue or a systems issue. I know you were told policy but I thought it was worth the ask. When I hear something I will post it. Keith
  14. Photo from one of many visits to Pear Harbor. This one was nine years ago. Happy Veterans Day. Keith
  15. No worries. I am the one with a millions typos and other mistakes. In my case I type fast and often do not reread what I write plus I blame most of this on auto-correct or should I say auto wrong. Keith
  16. Yes, we want it to say 90 days. Previously you could only make them 60 days before the cruise and now it is 90 days. That is good news. I just looked at my account (I said my chart but I should have said my account) and it said the following which is perfect. Keith PLEASE NOTE THAT RESERVATIONS FOR SHORE EXCURSIONS, DINING AND SPA CAN BE BOOKED 90 DAYS BEFORE EACH SAILING.
  17. You will get the full $1,000.00 back. It is automatic and no administrative fee. Keith
  18. I thought a separate thread was in oder for this and it applies to all voyages. With final payment made, you can now book reservations for specialty restaurants, shore excursions and spa and salon appointments 90 days before the start of your cruise rather than 60 days. You do this through My (well your) Account. Keith
  19. Good question since I do make a good number of typos. But it is $1,000.00 per room for the open booking and it is good for 90 days from the time you make the booking. NC does it differently than old Crystal. The changes are: Open bookings are $1,000 per booking and are good for 90 days from the time you book it rather than six months after the cruise ends. Voyage specific bookings require a full deposit as oppose to a partial deposit. And rather than this being charged against your shipboard account you have them charge it directly to your credit card. Keith
  20. Hi Muriel: Do you happen to remember when Bob Ray will be on board Serenity and Symphony. No worries if you don't but I thought I would ask. Enjoy the Supper Club this evening. Thanks to you and others on board for your posts. This is the most guests on board so it's also been nice to hear how things are going. It's good preparation for the Holiday Cruise which at the present time is either sold out or close to being sold out. Continue to enjoy. Keith
