Correction: I just checked my email confirmation and I paid $79 each way. @Mary229, HAL only operates their shuttle on cruise days. You'll need to take the private shuttle. I forget their name but I've used them pre-covid. Their current schedule gets to Canada Place at 2:30 pm, way too late. What are they thinking?

I'm inclined to go to the baggage claim where the HAL reps meet and greet passengers flying in that morning. I think I'll head over there around 8 am.

@BermudaBound2014, maybe there are 2 chairs in case you meet a "special" friend on your cruise and invite them in to share your balcony. 😉

@GatorMomInNC, if I find out anything I'll let you know. At other airports I was told to look for the HAL rep in the baggage claim area. Seatac has a huge garage. I have no idea where the orange section is.

I'm sailing out of Vancouver next month. I'm flying into Seattle the day before, staying at a nearby hotel overnight, and then taking the HAL transfer to Canada Place the next day. What time should I plan on being back at Seatac in the morning to board the bus?

We don't know what the problem is, but a lot of us have been getting Bad Request messages for several days.

J. Alexanders was started in Nashville where I live. Excellent food and service. I just ate at the location in Chattanooga. We have 3 in and around Nashville. Well prepared American food with a flair.

If you want to stay in the same room, I'm pretty sure you're going to have to book thru HAL. I have no idea which hotel they use.

I'm looking at a Northern European cruise leaving Dover in May, 2025. I tried doing a mock booking to get an idea of solo pricing and inside cabin availability. It will only allow guarantee cabin bookings, regardless of the type of fare or cabin category. What's up with that. Why can't I choose a cabin this far out?

I usually book inside cabins and see no need to park myself in the Lido in order to experience daylight.

Amsterdam is a great city to sail from. Plan on going in a few days ahead of time. Plenty to do and see.

Both Tauck and Uniworld have river cruises with no or reduced single supplements. Stay away from Viking. Its Noah's Ark.

I'm sorry, I don't agree with this. 25 days is a L-O-N-G time for a kid, especially a 5 year old.

@Zukini, love your screen name! I've had the opposite experience with service in the MDR. It was never rushed and the whole table had to finish a course before the next one was brought to the table. I've posted in this forum about the issue with Lido tables being occupied during peak periods by people playing cards and board games, reading, just chatting, etc. I've been roundly criticized for this opinion and told I'm just jealous of others enjoying themselves. Sorry you weren't prepared for children onboard. Any 7-day cruise during summer vacation is going to have a contingent of kids.
