    When we sail, the OBC we get is split between the occupants. when we sail with our kids, the OBC is split between all of us. So, you should have $450 and she should have $450.

    I've been on virtually all the cruise lines including those you mentioned and NCL, HAL, Princess, etc... My opinion, but carnival is the bottom of the barrel...

    I don't think it's any more tacky than families wearing identical shirts with "Smith Summer Cruise, 2023" or the bachelor groups or the bacherlorette parties with their skimpy outfits. Even though it's tacky, it warms my heart to see people making nice memories.

    To the OP. if you're used to RCCL, Celebrity and Cunard, going from those lines to carnival is like comparing a 5 star restaurant to McDonalds. There's no comparison 🙂

    Quite possibly. The backpack I used to carry my laptop on a cruise had a a knife and 2 full mags of ammo for my Glock 19 handgun. Security found them and asked me to take them back to my car. I was nervous since I had my gummies in the very next pocket, but luckily, they didn't see them...

    You sound like the people who criticize my Corvette. They've never been in one, never driven one, but it's a terrible car based on what they've read. Yes, the Vista class has problems, but like I've said before, I've been on the Panorama numerous times. Each time was a great cruise. Ok, I'm done also. Apologies if I went too far...

    I think she's a great ship. Been on her quite a few times and each time was an amazing cruise.

    Ok, I assumed since you cruised Carnival, you be familiar with their loyalty program. The program starts at blue and goes up to diamond. The higher the tier, the better the deals. The person in question should have no problems getting the OBC since it's a VIFP rate and not a casino offer.
