  1. Oh wow...that was where the LA was...though not sure if it was Serenade or one of the sisters.
  2. I hope to try out the Brightline soon. Saw it ripping by the other day when we were in Vero Beach. Wow...fast! Though with having to hire shuttle service to take us to the airport to catch the train, then getting a taxi to the port...it's pretty much the same as just flying down. But still want to try it for kicks. 😉
  3. We being "half of the WC"...were not invited to the gala. Hotel, transfer, party, dinner...all for the full 274 night WC folks. But with being only a quick "up an down" flight from Orlando to Miami the morning of...I prefer the comfort of my own bed the night before anyway. 😉
  4. Just back from 2 weeks Wonder. My Vodka sours are always with Grey Goose. Never a charge.
  5. I agree. All the times we were on Wonder, for example, the arcade never had any users...just a horribly annoying loud heavy metal or punk rock music playing. IMHO the arcade is a waste of space.
  6. B2B on Wonder ended last week. Breakfast in MDR was terrible. Food edible, service horrible. C&A lunch both weeks in MDR, just as bad. Echoed my opinion on the survey after the first week. If you think they don't pay attention to the survey (as I used to think)...think again. We had CK manager and MDR manager contact us about the rating during the 2nd week. Oh yeah, they notice.
  7. Not Orville...but like you, I am not on full 274 nights. We are half, being first and last quarter. Was told in the beginning that we would have access to laundry machines, and now apparently we do not. 😞 There were a few more perks we will not have as well, as I understand. Guess we are the "red headed step children". 😉 "Sea" you on board real soon. 🙂
  8. Park Cafe used to be the only place, including Wonder. Just out of curiosity, I asked in Park Cafe last week on Wonder. Crew member looked at me blankly and told me he never heard of the bags of chips behind the counter you had to ask for. Sooo...that has gone away quite awhile ago apparently.
  9. Yes, we give extra to the bartenders at the end...but always tip a buck a drink up until then. The water...if they give me 2-4 bottles I give them a couple of dollar bills. Cheaper than the "refreshment" package. 😉
  10. Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing! Would love to visit there! Unfortunately we don't go there on the WC. 😞 Real shame...and in fact very limited Pacific side Mexican ports.
  11. Me too...one of the first things I hang up...our hats on the wall via on a couple of the smaller hook magnets
  12. Yup...same for me. I always hit the bank prior to a cruise...especially the longer B2Bs etc. Much easier than constantly trying to get change at GS or casino. Have WC coming up next month. Think I may have to hire a Brinks truck to bring all that small bill tip money to the ship. 😄
  13. Less than what I have done from there. 😉 I arrive early to score an inside parking spot in the garage. Have parked on the surface lot when the garage was full...no real problem...except for the seagulls/Pelicans using my little SUV for target practice. 🤢 I park my vehicle in a garage at home. If available (and I do B2B cruises) I would prefer to park in the garage. Just my choice, but it works for me.
  14. Indeed traffic is a nightmare getting into Tampa port (or FLL) if you are driving. But once there, Tampa is a sweet little port to cruise out of.
  15. And the most crowded parking terminal. 😮 At least they finally paved the second surface lot. The garage is way too small for the ships home ported there now and in the future. Used to do the off site parking, but the shuttles got to be a nightmare. Parking at the port more expensive, but so much more convenient.
  16. Indeed. I usually try to remember to walk up to the bar after lunch on various days in CK to ask for two-four bottles of water to take back to the cabin...and always tip in cash with a smile and a thank you. 😉
  17. Me, I cruise to "see the sea".....always oceanfront facing balcony/suite cabin. 😉
  18. Mmm...head em up, move em out Rawhide!! Ooops is my age showing? 😂 Now that's what I call deployment!
  19. Yup, enjoy what you want, and when the final tally comes up as zero...it's been a good day. 😉
  20. Deck nine is fine...errr...poet and didn't know it. 😉 Just be sure to get mid ship location. Though Harmony has such a huge wide beam...you won't notice much movement anyway. Don't book deck 14...will hear the much louder pool deck area above you.
