The difference is that when Icon was first released it was November 2022. Ships were sailing at 50 to 75% capacity. If you remember, even at the time those prices were at a huge premium over the other ships and many thought the prices at the time were crazy. They look like a deal now but not back then. The landscape has changed and it will take another global event if you ever expect to see those low prices again.

If you booked flights with Royal the earlies flight they will allow from Miami is 12:00; If you booked flights on your own you are asked to enter your flight details which are not verified. Personally I would have no issues with an 11:10 flight out of FLL, but not out of Miami

Sorry, missed that part. I've never seen a seniors discount for cruise planner items of any kind. Since they use 55 for cruises you would hope they would keep it consistent and use the same age.

A crazy week for sure with trying to get ahead of the game with making final payments and other things so that there won't be much to do over the next week. We leave on the 27th. DrIve to Florida, a couple days at theme parks and then board the Odyssey for the 6 night NYE sailing. Enjoy the holidays!

@harryfat1enjoy your cruise. Wish we didn't have to change that 8 day to the 6 over NYE but sometimes the kids school schedules are hard to predict.

55, but thst only applies to the cruise. There is no seniors discount on beverage packages. It is not available on all sailings or even on all categories. It is only select sailings that Royal is still trying to sell cabins where they offer the seniors discount.

Group rates are not dependent on agencies. They are either offered or not. There was a screw up initially with what appeared to be group rates for the 4/13 sailing the night it was released and you could create a group but they were standard rates and not group rates. They were removed form cruising power at around 9am the following morning and nothing has been able to be blocked since.

It is doubtful that it will be added as 99% of the time it is available to be blocked as soon as the itineraries are released. There are a lot of Asian sailings where Royal does not release group rates.

$500 is correct for a solo on the TP unless you are in a group and then its $1000. It should be $450 or $900 for the 12 night.

Just noticed something with the 12 night Singapore to Tokyo. It was only asking for a $250 deposit for a solo so I am assuming $500 for a double occupancy. That is the incorrect amount for a 12 day cruise. it should be $900 or $450 for a solo. If any of you find this I would strongly suggest that you pay the full deposit for this length of sailing. When they catch it then you run the risk of your booking being cancelled for not having enough deposit on the booking.
