  3. While we are on our Hawaii cruise the drink of the day will be posted very late in the afternoon unless someone will be willing to do it from January 28 - February 18. Please let me know.

  6. Even I have never heard of some of the cocktails on the new list. Toronto Maple Leafs cocktail: 1/2 oz of blue curacao liqueur 1/2 oz of Bailey's Irish Cream (or Irish Cream) Layer in shot glass.

Absinthe Frappe cocktail: Ingredients 1 1/2 ounces absinthe 1/2 ounce simple syrup 2 dashes anisette Soda water, chilled, to top (about 2 ounces) Garnish: mint sprig Steps Add all ingredients except the soda water into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a large snifter over crushed or pebble ice. Top with the soda water and stir briefly and gently to combine. Add more ice to the glass, forming a mounded top. Garnish with a mint sprig. Serve with a straw.

  10. Japanese Cocktail: Ingredients 2 ounces cognac 1/2 ounce orgeat 3 dashes Angostura bitters Lemon peel for garnish Directions Fill a mixing glass half full with ice. Add cognac, orgeat, and bitters. Stir well. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Twist lemon peel over the drink and drop in as a garnish.

Serena cocktail: 1/5 cl of Strawberry Vodka 1/5 cl of dry vermouth 1/10 cl of Pineapple Juice 5 drops of Lemon Juice 2/5 cl of Absolut vodka (or Vodka) 1/10 cl of blue curacao liqueur First of all put in the mixing glass absolut vodka then strawberry vodka, dry vermouth, pineapple juice, blue curacao and lemon juice. (giggle) Wild Sex Cocktail: 1/2 oz of peach schnapps 1 oz of Orange Juice 1 oz of Cranberry Juice 1 oz of Pineapple Juice 1/2 oz of Bacardi 151 rum (or overproof rum) 1 oz of Malibu coconut rum (or Coconut Rum) 1/2 oz of grenadine syrup Fill a hurricane glass with ice, pour in malibu, peach schnapps and 151. Pour juices on top followed by a splash of grenadine. Use a shaker tin to cover the glass and give a couple of good shakes.

  21. Cherry Blossom-tini cocktail: Ingredients 50ml Lillet Rose Vermouth 10ml Cherry blossom syrup 15ml Amaro Montenegro 10ml Hepple gin A dash of cucumber bitters Directions Stir all ingredients with ice Strain into a martini glass Garnish with a maraschino cherry

Birthday Cake cocktial: Ingredients 3 oz Caruva Horchata Cream Liqueur Available at Total Wine 2 oz Licor 43 3 oz Pineapple Juice 4-5 ice cubes for the shaker additional ice for glass Frosting + Sprinkles Instructions With a knife smear frosting on the glass' rim. In the shallow plate pour sprinkles and coat the glass rim. Set Aside. In the cocktail shaker add Horchata Cream Liqueur, Licor 43 and Pineapple Juice. Shake Vigorously until it's frothy. Add ice to the two short glasses and pour cocktail mixture.

Apple Daiquiri cocktail: Ingredients 1/2 part DeKuyper® Pucker® Sour Apple Schnapps 1 part Cruzan® Aged Dark Rum 1 part Apple Juice 1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream Pineapple Wedge Instructions In a blender, add 1 scoop of ice cream and all other ingredients. Blend, then pour into a tall glass. Garnish with a pineapple. It won't let me upload the photo. I had to prove I'm human. Glad I had my coffee.
