Please do not think I am a moaner but I do feel unhappy re no aqua show (booked boardwalk cabin especially for this), no water slides, waking people u due to noise at 6am etc

I have just priced a 7 night caribbean on harmony

Working it out per night my three night is no cheaper so they can't say that

But this isn't the inaugural. Merely a shakedown added only recently. Only it's the passengers getting the shakedown. ;)

I booked my cruise October 2015 so not added last minute and classed as 3 night short getaway

We loved Anthem so we thought bigger would be better and said we would never go on a small ship. However, this ha changed our mind especially as it's new.

 

I'm sure it will be great in 6 months time when sailing out of Florida, but a shakedown cruise from Southampton, I think we will pass next time.

We did one of the first on anthem and it was great.

Yeah. Royal got a bit greedy with these 3 and 4 night "preview" cruises. But I'd say 80% done. Just things like no Aqua theatre for a week or two which is a bit disappointing. She also seems more "lived in" than other new ships I've sailed on. Maybe due to the amount of workers on board

It was sold as " 3 night short getaway" not "a nearly finished cruise"

I could have had an ocean view balcony but booked boardwalk for the aqua show

Feeling a bit deflated for thurs now

Aqua show has been dropped from my planner but no email to advise

Is the zip wire working?

Did I read no water in the jacuzzi in the solarium?

Heard people being woken up by drilling at 6am

Is all of this correct?

Did hype see the solarium or dreamworks?

We are on, despite our boarding time being 1pm we arrived around 11.30, dropped the bags off (although no smart luggage tags like Anthem) and checked in with no wait then on the boat in 15 mins.

 

Pics are to come although can't get on wifi until I get the Internet code from the cabin when they become available at 1. The 4G on my phone is really slow at the moment so can't post the pics.

How much before were you allowed on

Do you have add taxes on to this

Wondering if cheaper to pay in pounds beforehand or in dollars when on board

The Aqua Theatre will not be operational. Bobby Davro is headliner tonight; those who have Grease booked for tonight have had it moved to another date.

Might be worth checking your luggage tags haven't updated.

 

The original tags only had 4 quadrants. A certain social media site is reporting the tags now have (the correct for Oasis class) 6 quadrants.

 

(Random thought: Is quadrant the correct term for 6 sections? Sexrant? Answers on a postcard.)

What section is the luggage tags please just so I can check

I am on one in just under two weeks

If I remember the Central Park Cabins got lunch at Giovanni's and possible some limited wine. Boardwalk cabins got a meal at JR and a think a pop sticker.

 

Basically each view got a meal and a drink of some variety.

I don't think the three night cruises get this do they?

Does anyone else keep getting emails re on line check in when already done

It allowed me to book it and shows as 7 to 8.30 :)

I hope I am right it only being hour and half

Assume would not let me book if two half hours

I suspect many won't even notice. Many are first time cruisers, have never been on previous Oasis Class ships, or didn't know that BW balconies came with AquaTheater or ocean views.

We are very close to end balcony closest to aqua, deck 9 I think, wonder if will be able see aqua
