What to do post cruise in Tampa

Recommended Posts

Rhapsody cames in at 7am and Amtrak departs around 530p. Now sure what to do in Tampa between those times especially with some luggage..Will not have a car.

How late can you stay aboard ship? That would at least shorten the time. Any advice will be appreciated!

I'll second the suggestion of the aquarium next door to the cruise terminal. It's a top-notch aquarium and even has a nice café (Café Ray) to grab some lunch. They hold your luggage for free and if you have kids, let them change into their swimsuits and enjoy the splash park.

1. Not far from the aquarium, in the Tampa History Center, is a 'Columbia Cafe' … a smaller off shoot of the full Columbia Restaurant. For that matter you can take the trolley system to Ybor City for the full deal …. http://www.columbiarestaurant.com/Menus-By-Location

2. Starting near the aquarium and terminals is Riverwalk … a waterside linear park … https://thetampariverwalk.com/ nice and clean and if you walk too far there is a water taxi that runs along the same route to bring you back.

3. How about a free ride? https://www.tampasdowntown.com/getting-around/free-ride-service/
