Loyal royal trying celebrity

I agree with all the aforementioned differences, X has less children and a more sedate, sophisticated vibe, and better food and service over all. The biggest difference to us is X allows no smoking anywhere indoors on the ship, so it is the one cruise line where I can use the casino. On Royal I have to go up or down a deck to avoid even walking through it let alone use it. Also, sometimes on Royal the smoke from the casino has wafted into the theater making a problem for someone who is super sensitive to it.

We were on the Eclipse and Equinox this fall in Sky Suites and the Liminea was only open for lunch on sea days except it was open on embarkation day. It is open for breakfast and dinner every day.

That is not true on the Summit. The Luminae is closed on port days for lunch. The maitre d' may open on the last day in port if he chooses. It is open on embarkation day and I strongly encourage you use it vs the buffet.

Wasn't sure which ship was being referred to but I stand corrected. When I was on the Connie, we had no issues.:D

I need to clarify the ship I will be on--Infinity. Is it open all days or just sea days and embarkation day?

Also, I know what these words mean, but can someone clarify does it mean it will be delivered upon request--certainly don't think a machine will be in the cabin. On RCL there is a machine in the suite lounge and I drink more lattes than alcohol. Sorry for the questions I'm just a newbie to Celebrity but do believe it will be my permanent home.

"Complimentary daily in-suite espresso and cappuccino"

.

Whilst we have many happy RC memories we now cruise almost exclusively with Celebrity....It is hard to describe an ‘ambiance’....but it is the calm, quiet, restful, good service and nice food which make Celebrity our preferred choice. We leave a RC cruise sometimes feeling we need a holiday to recover...we leave a Celebrity cruise feeling rested and relaxed.

This describes pretty much why we're trying X in March - that and the smoke free casino.
