hammer76 Posted May 16, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2018 It would help to know what what you want to do, expectations, experience, etc, etc, etc. I’ve done the Barrier Reef snorkel a couple times.
maldenmusic Posted May 16, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 16, 2018 I'll be doing the shark/ray excursion with Coral Breeze one week from today. I'll try to come back here with an update.
disneyfan551 Posted May 16, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2018 Looking forward to hearing about it! I loved doing shark/ray snorkel in 2016, but just don't know who to go with this time!!
Rare mitsugirly Posted June 28, 2018 #5 Share Posted June 28, 2018 Oh gosh...that's quite the decision to make. Both are fabulous! I have to say that we did the shark ray alley with the cruise line (because our cruiser friends didn't want to book private) but it's definitely a "different" kind of experience swimming with the sharks (and rays). Carnivals snorkeling the barrier reef takes you to Rendezvous Caye to snorkel and WOW what an amazing time we had there. The island was absolutely beautiful and the snorkeling was amazing and they brought up so many things for us to see that day. I would go back in a heartbeat! I have reviews on both of them in my signature line with TONS of pictures if you are interested. :)
oktober81 Posted July 18, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 18, 2018 @maldenmusic: How was your snorkeling trip? We think about booking this excursion for our september cruise!
BoxerGal Posted July 28, 2018 #7 Share Posted July 28, 2018 You won't be disappointed with the Coral Breeze Shark Alley tour - we did it years ago and it was great. Considering doing it again on our upcoming cruise in September, but may give cave tubing another whirl instead. Still mapping out plans as this was a last minute booking. I book independent tours 95% of the time as I find they are more intimate in nature and a far greater value. The staff and guides at Coral Breeze were excellent. Safe travels!
