$163 per diem

Reading Seabourn's website, I found that the 11 day sailing, this March 27 - April 7 from the U.S. Virgin Islands to Lisbon was on sale for $1795, i.e. $163 per diem (even less if your TA gives you a discount, and American Express gives you the usual $300 per cabin shipboard credit, etc). For those of you who are resistant to seasickness (crossing the Atlantic on a small ship, which unfortunately I am not), it should be a wonderful opportunity for you to enjoy all that good food and service!

Meow!-I think you've identified the reason this per diem is so low.

I was told this sailing was sold-out months ago. If space has suddenly beome available please post.

The website and TAs are still selling the $1,795 special.

Ive been on several Atlantic crossings, and have yet to see rough weather!

Looking forward to our "cheap" SEabourn crossing on the Legend, in less than 3 weeks! Lets see... $1795, minus 5% on board booking, plus $300 shipboard credit from Amex AND a french balcony suite!! Life is good!

There was a time, a few years ago before people discovered the crossings, that they always sold for about $1795. This is one of the great bargains in luxury cruising.

SB is offering caribbean at $270 per diem, Belize at $289 and Asia at $329 on
