VIP check-in

We are booked on the Royal with a players club rate(very good). my question is it states VIP check-in: will there be a check in for players club marked or do I stand in line with 3500 of my friends?:confused:

My guess, probably you will directed to the priority check in line with others that have priority check in. Check in goes quickly.

VIP checking is a meaningless marketing term assuming it the same as the VIP check in for those staying in full suites. On our recent 28day cruise we stood in line with all the Platiums, Elites, and Club Class guest which was more than 50% of the guests.

It was not quick.

Don't pay much attention to that "perk". We're Elite and we often go to whatever line is fastest. Sometimes it's the Priority line and sometimes it's the other lines. Really not important to us at all.

Depends on which VIP perk it is, if it’s the regular OPC casino then you go in the peferred line.

If it’s the prestige players (where the offer includes car service), you are privately escorted on the ship by a casino host before everyone.

Curious as to how much money one has to gamble to qualify as "prestige".

I don't know; they are NOT sending a car to pick me up. I don;t spend very much in the casino; but last cruise I did win $550 playing black jack !

Actually not a lot, total play was about 3k give or take

We were in-transit for the Royal on Nov 30th. There were some 120 Park West employees (art dealer) lining up and there leader was demanding VIP treatment (boarding process) because they produce countless millions for Princess.

I wanted to throw up. We were able to beat them in the side door for security.
