Laundry Service on the Crown Princess

Are there options for laundry service on the Crown Princess? We just booked a 24 day B2B and since this will be the first time we'll be sailing with Princess where laundry will be an issue, we wanted to get head start on what to expect.

Basically, we DO NOT want to do laundry while we're on the cruise. Does Princess offer any of the following options:

1. Regular "per bag" rate?

2. Unlimited rate like HAL offers at $7 per day?

3. Special "per bag" rate sale certain times during the sailing like Celebrity and Oceania?

4. By the piece rate?

If yes to any of the above, any idea what the applicable charges are? We are only Gold status, so as you might imagine there are no laundry perks for us at this level. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

PS: I tried searching on "laundry", but didn't find any recent threads that helped; although there were plenty describing the laundromats and their associated prices.

Crown has self-service laundry.

Its laundry service is per piece. Din’t know the piece rate. Not aware of per bag or daily rate.

Princess offers both self-service laundry, and full service laundry and professional cleaning.

It's per piece pricing, Princess does not offer "per bag" specials or the like - it's all per piece pricing. Way, way cheaper to do a load yourself, but can appreciate not wanting to do so in vacation.

The pricing is comparable to hotel laundry/dry cleaning pricing - $2 or so for undergarments/socks, $4 or so for t-shirts, $5 or so for pants, etc.

You cab Google rhe Princess laundry price list - lots of photos of the current pricing (hasn't changed for a couple years).

You can request same day service at a 50% surcharge, in by 9 back by 6 or regular seevice which takes - usually - around 48 hours or so...

Not too bad. But in talking with the DW this evening, we might break down and do some "big stuff" laundry on the in-transit day between cruises. At least on that day, it should be pretty calm in the laundromat.

What has been your experience? How long would a cruise have to be to possibly expect to see a bag of laundry sale advetized in the Patter?

If you do that, start early. By the time people board the ship, the laundry can get downright packed from those that did pre-cruise stays.
