Embarkation lunch on adventure

In looking over the old cruise compasses it appears that the sapphire dining room is open from 12-1 for lunch on embarkation day. Is that just a MD room for everyone or is that something for suite guests?

I don't think I've ever seen the MDR open on embarkation day? Interested to hear answer to this.

The MDR isn't open on boarding day. They may have something for B2B guests....but not for the boarding masses. Your choices will be the buffet and any smaller "snack" venues that might be open.

Interesting. I looked at the compasses and they are not old at all. There are 2 different dates from May of this year and both have the MDR open from 12-1 for lunch.

Maybe it’s a test to avoid overcrowding the WJ on the first day.

Most people never seen the compasses on opening day till 1:30 or so. I suppose some poeple rush to Guest Services to get one?

I’m on her now and it wasn’t open for lunch. However, was chatting with some passengers and Chops was open (for a fee of course) . Not sure abt the other specialty restaurants.

$22 on the cruise planner. I was able to get it on a sale for ~$17. Not sure if the on-board pricing will be different.

Thanks! Just another question since you were just on the ship, did you try the Mystery Dinner theatre or hear any feedback.

Actually I cruise in 2 weeks. Not planning on doing the mystery dinner though it does look fun. Hopefully another CCer can give you some feedback. [emoji106]
