tootsiescurly Posted November 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2017 Has anyone had a problem getting a table for 2 with Your Time Dining on the Inspiration? We generally eat around 8.
ccruisequeen Posted November 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2017 Yes, although we generally eat earlier in the evening. Most of the time, we can even get the same table and staff Most of the tables for two are against the couch in a row, so you won't be totally private. sanmarcosman Posted November 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 16, 2017 Not usually and the times we've arrived at 8pm the room is 3/4 empty. They give you a pager if you need to wait and even at peak times we've never waited more than 12 minutes on Inspiration for a table for two. Have fun. tootsiescurly Posted November 16, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted November 16, 2017 Have been on the Inspiration many times but always had late seating. Also, is it true the are doing the American Table menu and using plastic plates? They hadn't changed the menu the last time we sailed on her several years ago. Hi, We were on the Inspiration Halloween cruise a couple weeks ago. Just my Mom & I. Our 2 Top was in the middle of the Mardi Gras Dining Room with other 2 tops. We met a very nice Mom and her son the first night. At our request we had a 4 Top ( same section, Emiliano our fantastic head waiter, with equally nice Richard) for the remaining nights.:D No, I don't recall any plastic plates or cutlery in the MDR. We not went for dinner. Have a great cruise! Bobbi

Melmac is used in the buffet, more breakable stuff in the MDR. the menus and recipes have been tweaked a lot since the start of the American Table. The various revisions of the Root Vegetable Pie has been interesting. OP by 8 you shouldn’t have an issue most nights. Might have a bit of a wait on CE night. Cruiseman38 Posted November 17, 2017 #8 Share Posted November 17, 2017 No tablecloths is correct except for elegant nights. Never had plastic plates in the MDR.
