The last time I was there about 30% was back . I will be there later this year so I hope it is a lot better.

Things have probably changed since we were there last May, but at that time most everything was shut down. Very sad around the marina. Very few shops open anywhere. I would hope things have improved some by now.

One of the Holland America tours includes Marigot, Browse outdoor food market,enjoy sidewalk cafes,sample duty free shops. This tour is for January. Assume things are near normal or are expected to be then.

This is their standard description.....Very doubtful it will be as described by then.

We just returned (last Saturday) from a port stop onboard RCI Freedom....very sad that even Philipsburg is still in such disrepair ... they are trying but having a hard time....unless you're interested in jewelry stores and Diamond International.....and a few bars along Front Street.

Ashland, thank you for that recent info..On various threads it seems that everyone is touring by private operator or taxi. Do not think anyone has seen any cruise ship tour buses. Will have to hope things improve by January.
