Rotterdam

We will soon be stopping off in Rotterdam. I understand that this is primarily as a transit point for Amsterdam but I wonder what there is if we stay in Rotterdam.

Rotterdam also has some interesting hotels.

Hotel New York used to be the headoffice of Holland America, almost next to the cruise terminal.

Also the charming town of Delft is a short trainride away.

The town of Delft (where Delft pottery originates from, is also interesting. It's located just north of Rotterdam and can be reached by train, local bus and possibly tram as well.
