Trying to choose between

SHIP Norwegian Getaway

CRUISE PORTS Embark Miami (Florida); Roatan, Bay Islands (Honduras); Harvest Caye (Belize); Costa Maya (Mexico); Cozumel (Mexico); Disembark Miami (Florida)

SHIP Norwegian Escape

CRUISE PORTS Embark Miami (Florida); Falmouth (Jamaica); George Town (Grand Cayman); Costa Maya (Mexico); Nassau (Bahamas); Disembark Miami (Florida)

We have small kids and elderly in our party.

I read that Falmouth and Nassau are not that pleasant.

Which would you choose?

We've done both of those itineraries several times; not just on NCL.

I'd choose the Getaway--in fact we did that cruise last year and may be doing it again in December.

I don't care as much for a Bahamas stop, we were disappointed in Harvest Caye though; would rather go to Belize City, but it was an ok beach day.

Getaway. Falmouth is nothing to write home about, Nassau is a dump, and you need to tender in Grand Cayman. Roatan offers many cheap tours, which depending on how many people in your group, you could do private and design it yourself. Harvest Caye is simply a resort beach day. Costa Maya and Cozumel both have excellent choices for all inclusive such as Maya Chan in CM and Nochi Cocum or Mr Sanchos in Cozumel. There are lots of other things to do but those are a couple of options.

The Escape has a few more food and bar options and a 3 level ropes course instead of 2 but other than that, same ship.

Choose this one by port. Go with the Getaway.
