HRH or Royalton White Sands

I am looking for what you thought of Hilton Rose Hall or Royalton White Sands. I am looking for a relaxing beach day, a bit of snorkeling (I realize neither is great for snorkeling). Both seem like just what I am looking for but I would like to hear what others think. I will be there in February.

We were looking at both too. Decided against either as we're running a tad overbudget in other ports. But I was leaning toward HRH. Seemed to have a better layout and amenities that we'd enjoy. We liked the individual "cabanas" in the photos.

Friends of ours also recommended HRH over RWS after staying there on land vacay.

No. They are extra charge. They quoted us $100 for the ones near the pool and $450 for the ocean side cabanas.
