Carnival Fantasy passenger found hidden security camera in cabin

My sister sent me this article. Not trying to start any trouble; just curious, if anyone else has read this? I love Carnival and I have a cruise planned in March to Mexican Riviera out of Los Angeles. So, here it is:

Although I did not watch the video, the article made no mention of a security camera. "Security camera" would make it seem as if Carnival installed it themselves. Again, didn't watch the video, though.

Pretty sure whoever was on the cruise before them set up that camera for some late night watching when they got home but forget the camera on debarkation day. If that family found a camera in a vent, electrical outlet, or smoke detector then they would have a lawsuit on their hands.

Pensacola paper is way behind. This topic has been on the boards here for at least a week...

lol I see someone beat me to it, that there is already a long merged thread on this. i guess depends on how many posts per page you see, she said page 5, was page 3 for me, just ran across it.

Thanks to all for such a quick reply! It makes me feel a lot better. A camera left behind by a previous passenger makes a lot of sense.
