deck/room choice on Independence

I know the wisdom for a peaceful room is to get staterooms on a deck with cabins above you and cabins below. However, on our Independence sailing I really wanted connecting balcony rooms but the only ones I could get were on Deck 6 - in the middle of the deck - but above the 5th Promenade. Are we apt to have a lot of noise with that public area below us?

I don't think it will be that bad. Directly below would be the shops or food venues, not the actual Royal Promenade.

EDIT: Thiis really unfortunate, that link above pointed to photographs that showed each promenade staterooom location in relation to the venues on the Royal Promenade. However, those photos were linked fron Photobucket, which stopped allowing 3rd party hosting.

You will be above the highest level of the theater. Unless you're really "early to bed" folks, shows end around 11 or so. Doubt you'll be too bothered.
