My memory serves that there's enough room for a roll-away, but it would be best to call NCL and ask. And knowing how their customer service is, I'd call several times; you'll get several different answers. If this is what you want, and someone says you can have it, be sure to get it in writing.

Hello!

The OS sleeps up to 4 w a king bed and a pull out sofa. Can you bring in a roll out bed too?

We have 3 people and hoping for 3 sep sleeping beds.

Thanks!!

I'd say this would be hit or miss. Reports vary on rollaways being available or not. There would be plenty of room though. The main bed is a king so plenty of room there for 2. The couch folds out and is about a double in size.

We werre in 10506 over Christmas. The bed in the living room is a SINGLE bed. Very small and VERY hard! Even with an eggcrate, it was terribly hard. There would be room for a rollaway, if they are available. I do not know if the King bed in the bedroom separates into 2 singles.

If the bed in the living room is now a single where are they putting pax 4 as that room has capacity for 4.

Do you have a picture of the sofa bed?

You will be in a Suite and not any ole Suite but a Deluxe Owners Suite with full Butler and Concierge attention !

Notice ATTENTION in bold black.

So a few weeks before sailing you will get a packet in the mail with your luggage tags and pre-concierge

requests for pillows etc. 3 liquor bottles of your choice from the list provided and a telephone number to call

for anything else that might come up.

Call the phone number and state your request about the bedding arrangement.

Now this will go probably on deaf ears - but get it noted about what you want.

When you get to the Pier for checking in there will be a separate area for your guest registration and a

lounge where the Concierge and Butler will greet you and escort you on board. While getting your key

card from the Concierge mention your bedding request.

When you get to your DOS check to see if your request has been honored - if not grab a hold of that

Butler and well be nice tell him what you wanted done for the bedding - perhaps your cabin steward will be

in the area to co-ordinate it with him. Now relax go to lunch and when you come back to see if your

luggage has been delivered so you can put your clothes away the bedding request should be underway.

All these people are busy the first day of the cruise - bear with them to get things done.

After dinner and a show returning to your DOS you should find the lights down low for the nightly turn down

service and the bedding as requested. If not I am going to leave you in the lurch to get it fixed after all

I am not there to help make matters worse ! LOL !

The King bed sleeps 2 and the convertible couch in the Main living area sleeps 2 by NCLs definition - but no

where as comfortable as the King bed. Would appear best designed for children.

Is there a Murphy bed that folds down out of a wall like some of the other suites on the Dawn ?

Murphy bed lacking then a roll-a-way bed is what will have to be the solution.

The Murphy bed from the bottom and set into the wall may have the appearance of a picture or art deco

design - 2 metal screws at the top of the frame are the unlocking mechanism for releasing the bed.

King beds are rarely split due to the structure underneath (no box spring) but there is plenty of space to put

your empty suitcases luggage.

There are YouTube videos of these DOS suites with 2 balconies - Google to see.

I have viewed them and I don't see any bedding for a 5th person - NCL website is lacking of information.

Near the entry there is a half bath and a door to the adjoining cabin.

If they are staying on 9 or 10, the room is a OS not DOS. On the Dawn the DOS are on 12 and have NO balcony(ies).

The OS on Dawn class were converted from 2 pax to 4 pax approximately 2010/2011. They put in a white fake leather sofa bed that flipped out to make it about the size of a double. I believe the poster said it only slept one did not see it folded out and made up.

After the drydocks the room was similar and there weren't and aren't murphy bed in the OS or DOS like they have on some of the other suites on 12 that were added when they removed the lounge.

The sofa bed sleeps ONE! Not 2. It is the size of a twin bed, perhaps a bit more narrow. If it folded out to a double, we never saw that in the 11 days. And they knew how hard it was for our daughter to sleep on, so I think if they could have made adjustments, they would have. Also, no hanging storage or drawers in the living room for the extra passengers. Only shallow shelves where our daughter was able to stuff undergarments, nightwear & swimwear where wrinkling was not a concern. Plenty of room for 3 adults clothes in the dressing room, but not convenient for living room occupants. The room is absolutely lovely and these were the only negative issues with it. If you are on 10th floor, you will have Henry as your butler who was very responsive. We had Lonny as our room steward & he too was wonderful! Leah, the concierge was visible, always friendly, but never seemed to go out of her way for us. Have a wonderful cruise. I am sure if you contact the Concierge when you receive your welcome letter with luggage tags, they will help you with the sleeping arrangements you require.

Here is a youtube video of Dawn 10006 . . . starting around 5:42 into the video there is a very good look at the couch made up into bed that sleeps two. Hmm, first video link isn't "clickable" so you'll need to copy and paste into browser.

Here is another youtube video of Dawn 10006 with the couch as a couch.

I checked the pics after the drydock last year and it looks like the same couch we had. It DOES fold out to be about a double. If your steward or butler didn't make it up to be a double, not sure other than maybe being lazy.

I agree, it is pretty much on the hard side. Depending if you are on 9 or 10 there is enough room in the living room to stash a few things for overnight with the ones on 10 having probably a bit more storage by the dining alcove.

Butlers rotate all the time so who you had is not indicative of who someone else might have.

ETA: These rooms were originally only for 2 pax and modified for 4 a few years back.
