Booking flight home out of Barcelona

What is the earliest you would recommend booking a flight home after the cruise ends in Barcelona? Ships is scheduled to arrive at 6:00am.

Some people book flights leaving as early as 10:30 AM and make them.

I don't like stress and know that things can go wrong whether that is a late arrival or issues at the airport so I like to book a flight closer to Noon even if that means I will be waiting longer at the airport.
