The NEW Cruise Critic Australia + Facebook page

Hi everyone

I'm your new Australian-based, real Aussie editor of Cruise Critic Australia, which is launching soon! It's an exciting time for Australian and New Zealand cruisers, so get ready for lots more local, relevant info, written by Australians and New Zealanders.

And yes, I know they're separate and very different countries :)

The new site will have:

- AU and NZ news and features

- reviews of locally based ships

- reviews of ports in AU, NZ and South Pacific

- special deals in AU$

- Price Drop for Australia

- a local blog

- competitions

....and lots more!

Note: this AU/NZ forum will stay where it is, on the main site, so there's no need to move or change anything.

In the meantime, please like the "Cruise Critic AU" Facebook page, where you can also vote for the name of your new mascot, the Cruise Critic koala!

If you're not on Facebook, don't worry, I will post here with any updates about the official launch of the new website... stay tuned over the coming weeks.

Will be interested to see what it is like ...

The booking a cruise page on the beta test needs a bit of work, when you enter Australia as the location half the cruise lines disappear, but I really hope it all comes together.

You also really need to do something to plug it more.

The email I sent them asked for Asia to be included in destinations.
